Incredible!
This place is amazing. Gorgeous, sexy, fabulous. We stayed in 5 rentals over the course of our tour of Italy, and this one stands out. Great vibe. Rent it just for the private tub and large shower!
Only complaint: The tub was around 90 degrees F, and begins cooling from the time you take off the cover. If it were 10*F warmer it would be a great hottub. If it were 15*F cooler it would be a good, refreshing swimming pool. As it were, we wished it was either hotter or cooler.
The apartment is on ground floor at the back of the building. As result it is crypt-quiet and private, in spite of being in a busy, vibrant neighborhood.
So many rooms in Italy have tons of stairs, and after walking nonstop day after day, it is great to have a room with only a couple steps. The trade-off of being ground floor rear is that there is no view.
The building and room seem very secure, and probably houses a lot of local residents. Trastevere is vibrant and authentic, but is a bit farther from the tourist sites & train. The young and fit can walk, but others will need to plan on some taxis.
Overall, loved it! Will dream about it, and would absolutely recommend it.
