Exactly as described. Easy beach access

Dawn was very easy to work with. Snack basket was a nice surprise along with fresh eggs. We had great weather and would definitely book to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back. We stay in vrbo’s almost every other month for short vacations and this was the best greeting we’ve ever had. There was a basket waiting for us with fresh eggs, and a large assortment of snacks. The family here goes out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. We only saw them once but they were very prompt to answer any texts with questions about the area or where to find things. The only thing that could be slightly improved would be the television for relaxing at night after a long day at the beach. Great place, great hosts.

Best Shack Around!

What an amazing place, super close to a gorgeous beach, beautiful Place, super sweet little surf town, amazing little markets, super accommodating hosts. This was by far the best little gem to stay in the OBX. And for Rondanthe love this little spot, but bring mosquito spray lol they are the town bird!!! We will be back to the best little HattyWampus Shack around!

Stay with Dawn … she’s awesome! Not only is her little place just perfect … cute and quaint… but Dawn goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are taken care of! So many extra little touches that make you feel like she really cares about being sure your stay with her is a 10!
