Second time at Accra and it was great but we found that the hotel is in need of work and it has been allowed to deteriorate a bit since our last stay in 2018. To their credit, they have crews there everyday renewing areas and that was great to see. The front desk staff were incredible and helped us sort out a few issues with our room. the location is amazing and the beach is outstanding. Overall a great stay but they are working on bringing back up the previous level and that's great to see!

Highly disappointed with Accra. I came many years ago and this resort was so fun! They had fun activities and music at the swim up bar and entertainment during the days or nights. This time the pool side bar barely had a bartender present, there was no music and there was no entertainment the entire time we were there. The gym is a sad excuse for a gym with the oldest cardio equipment I’ve seen at a resort. They didn’t clean our room twice for no reason and I had to ask for towels which no one brought me so i had to find the housekeeper in the hallways and ask for some. One day the toilet didn’t flush and I asked for someone to come, no one ever came. We ended up jiggling things around in the tank and got it to work. The rooms are so date and small, ice machine didn’t work, carpet and walls was old with hole in the wall by my room. The ONLY good thing about this place was the lovely staff! From the security guards like Claudia, to Sophia at the front desk, bartenders Jared, Joshua, staff member Damien just to name a few. What they lack in decor they have in friendliness of staff. The least friendly person i encountered was Rachel one of the managers. They should really focus on improving the rooms, gym and return to having more entertainment during the days or nights

The location of the property was excellent for us. Right on an amazing beach and easy walking distance to lots of local eateries and bars. Public transport on Barbados is fantastic and you can get to and from the airport and most points of interest very easily from Accra Beach.

Excellent Find Near Everything You Need.

Great holiday location in Rockley. Everything you need in walking distance. The hotel corridors / landing could do with a good clean - they are also very dark when walking down them. Only real downside. The staff were amazing. Every I asked / requested was supplied. Great pool. Plenty of room around it. There is also a smaller adults pool too which is a nice touch. There is a restaurant at the resort which caters for all diets. Due to the convenience of a mini mart and fast food outlets the need for more restaurants (in my opinion) are not needed. There is a beach bar and an inside bar which are both pleasant areas to sit. If you are looking for a very good location to stay in Barbados then ACCRA BEACH hotel and SPA is well worth the visit and right on the beach.

On Day 2 we had no running water. Had to call maintenance to turn on flow/pressure to our room. Never had hot water for showering the entire week. The hotel is very old so conditions (e.g maintenance) is an issue. I also thought breakfast buffet was way too expensive ($75bds/adult). Jacuzzi on balcony but didn't work. Thought we had an ocean view. It was but more a corner vs. straight out.

Very reliable hotel with a good breakfast buffet and great staff. It would be nice to find a few more outlets and places in the rooms to charge your various devices as well as the inroom applicances.

Broke down my door because of deadbolt issue.

The hotel is old. I got locked into my room and they had to use a crowbar to break down the door to get me out. The good news is I didn't miss my flight. The employees didn't seem happy. There must be some issues all around.

Pre cruise 2 night stay. Hotel on a super beach in an area with lots of restaurants and shops. Room was good but no bedside lights or switch to turn off the main light. All the room picks on the website have bedside lamps. identified issue in arrival survey to no avail. Would stay againn for the beach but this is a very three star experience.

The Accra was an amazing beach front property. Could not have asked for a better location. Very close proximity to other dining venues - and all very good! The only con would be there were never enough beach chairs and umbrellas for the guests. Would definitely recommend the Accra.

This hotel was a huge disappointment. we stayed there in 2012 and the room we stayed in seemed like it was never updated or renovated. The room had a bad mold smell, there was moisture everywhere, the bathroom was not clean. Its a good thing we only stayed one night there. NOT going back there.

I was really reluctant after reading all the bad reviews but I booked it anyway because I wanted a big pool area. Well I was pleasantly surprised. It was no where near as bad as the reviews made it sound. It definitely had one of the beach areas. The pool was large. Yes it is very dated but a lot of hotels in Barbados are. The jacuzzi did not work and I wish I had known that before I booked it. They gave me a credit but I was charged so taxes they stated were shown on Expedia. The location of the hotel was perfect walking distance to the (less then 1.5m) Gap nightlife. Lots of restaurants even closer.
