Just so anyone knows that stays here, do NOT click the furthest left burner on the stove to the "off" position because it will gas fumes out for god knows how long. THIS PLACE DOES NOT HAVE A CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR.I had my mom, husband, brother, and 2 kids with me. My family and i got to this house and the second we stepped in, it smelt like a propane tank was left on. We opened all of the windows and doors while we unpacked for TWO hours until my mom that is auto immune compromised started having chest pains like her lung was gonna explode.My brother ended up realizing the burner being completely missaligned but the last renters im assuming didn't know this so when they left and turned all the burners to the "off" position, it consistently let out gas, with a glass covered lit pilot in the fire place maybe 10 feet away from each other.I messaged them about everything, they said to call fire rescue and one of THEIR team members would come there to follow up. Fire department came, confirmed the leak and cleared it after we stood outside for an hour in 50 degree coastal weather which would have great if it was optional but we couldn't leave while waiting for Fire Rescue. Not once did anyone from the renters come out to check on anything.This is rented out by Casago, a huge vacation planning company using VRBO for sales. All their emails back to me were out generated and in the end, after potentially killing my family, i got 1/4 of my stay refunded..
