Family Mill Stay with BBQ

This historic rural mill from the 1600s offers a rustic and authentic countryside experience in Forcella. A protected stone structure under the Fine Arts authority, this property preserves its original wooden beams, doors, and windows, maintaining its historical value. It is not comparable to a modern apartment or industrial property; instead, it is best suited for guests who enjoy outdoor living and possess a spirit of adaptation. The 2-bedroom cottage accommodates 4 people and is ideal for families looking to be surrounded by nature.

While the interior features a well-equipped modern kitchen and simple, rustic furnishings, the true highlight is the surrounding environment. Guests can enjoy a private garden with furniture, a terrace with a barbecue, and proximity to a forest just 100 m away. The mill overlooks a river, and you can take a swim in the nearby pond or natural swimming pool. Please note that while the house water is suitable for cooking and washing, a container with a glass dispenser provides free mineral water for drinking.

We really enjoyed our short week off in Ombrettas mill! We got to really relax and detox in pure nature with this amazing location. Ombretta is an amazing and sweet host! She even helped us bring up and down all of our luggage because I was a little bit too scared and tired to drive sown the driveway. Also everything you could possibly need is in the little house. Also amazing stay for dogs, they can run and play and swim as much as they want and nor be bothered by constant people flow, you are really unplugged and at peace here!

Wir haben zehn wundervolle Nächte in dieser besonderen Unterkunft verbracht. Der direkte Zugang zum Wasserfall war ein echtes Highlight – ein Erlebnis, das man so schnell nicht vergisst. Das großzügige Grundstück bietet viele liebevoll gestaltete Bereiche zum Entspannen: eine Hollywood-Schaukel, eine Hängematte, eine Bank im Grünen und sogar einen Grillplatz. So konnten wir immer wieder neue Lieblingsplätze entdecken. Auch das Haus selbst hat uns sehr gefallen. Es ist rustikal eingerichtet und versprüht einen besonderen Charme – wer diesen Stil mag, wird sich hier sehr wohlfühlen. Für unsere Kinder war es stellenweise etwas dunkel, aber das gehört einfach zum Charakter des Hauses. Die Gastgeberin war unglaublich herzlich und jederzeit über WhatsApp erreichbar. Sie hat uns bei allen Fragen sofort weitergeholfen und uns mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten überrascht, wie frischen Eiern vom Hof und selbst geernteten Zucchinis – eine wunderschöne Geste. Sehr praktisch war auch die Lage: Der nächste Supermarkt war schnell erreichbar, und am Parkplatz oberhalb gibt es sogar einen kleinen Kiosk, wo man unter anderem guten Wein kaufen kann. Da der Weg zur Unterkunft etwas steil ist, haben wir unser Auto dort stehen lassen – zu Fuß ist es aber problemlos machbar, auch mit Einkäufen. Ein kleiner Hinweis: Die Tür vom Gartentor sollte man stets geschlossen halten. Insgesamt war es ein wunderschöner Urlaub, voller Ruhe, Natur und Herzlichkeit. Vielen Dank für diese besondere Zeit – wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Ligging is fantastisch en zeker met honden heel fijn. Alles omheind, ook de toegang naar rivier en waterval Het huisje is prima maar basic. Als je slecht weer hebt geen bank of comfortabele stoelen. Douchen is het beste onder de waterval want er is weinig druk. Qua kookgerei is het minimaal en we misten buiten wel ligbedden Ondanks de minpunten vonden wij deze plek voor herhaling vatbaar, echt uniek!

Tolle Tips zu Aktivitäten in der Umgebung inclusive 😊 Der Wasserfall ist fantastisch. Zwar gut besucht, aber nicht störend. Die Besucher des Wasserfalles waren sehr freundlich! Een van de meest romantische plekken welke te vinden zijn in Le Marce. Prachtig gerestaureerde watermolen waarin alle details zijn bewaard. Even helemaal off grid, geen internet, geen tv en, wanneer je mazzel hebt verbinding op je mobiele telefoon. Bedden zijn zijn wel spartaans hard, en we hebben zelf uit voorzorg een paar camping stoelen meegebracht om lekker te kunnen zitten. De eigenaresse is een bijzonder vriendelijke dame die geen moeite te veel is. Bij aankomst direct contact en binnen 5 minuten ter plaatse om, met veel liefde tekst en uitleg te geven over de molen en de omliggende gronden. Zelfs een flesje wijn meegebracht. Gedurende ons verblijf kregen we nog een aantal keren tips per app over activiteiten in de omgeving. Een heerlijk verblijf, wij gaan zeker weer terug.

Sehr freundliche Vermieter. Das Haus war wie beschrieben, aber...... Der Wasserfall hinter dem Haus wird in Italien als öffentliches Schwimmbad beworben, also von Ruhe kann da keine Rede sein. Täglich kamen unzählige Menschen zum Wasserfall gepilgert und hielten sich dort den ganzen Tag auf. Kinderreisegruppen bis hin zu Halbstarke, die die Musik laut aufdrehten. Von Ruhe kann da kaum die Rede sein. Des weiteren ist der Weg von der Hauptstraße aus runter zum Grundstück und Haus einfach die Hölle. Mit einem Sportauto unmöglich. Wir hatten einen Fordbus, das war auch irre.

Wunderschöne Lage direkt am Wasserfall. Ombretta ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, hat sich sehr nett um uns gekümmert und war für alle Anliegen da. Sie spricht ausgezeichnet Englisch. Das Haus hat viel Atmosphäre und ist gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Die Zufahrt ist sehr steil, aber machbar. Ein wunderbarer Ort für Leute, die Ruhe und Natur lieben.

Wir haben 10 Tage in der traumhaften Wassermühle verbracht (also nicht in dem Agriturismo). Als Naturliebhaberinnen mit Hund waren wir vom ersten Moment an verzaubert. Ein kleines Paradies, mit Liebe gepflegt. Man sieht und spürt, wie Ombretta und ihre Familie mit viel Respekt vor der Natur und Liebe diesen Ort zu etwas ganz besonderem machen. Wat een paradijselijke plek! Bij aankomst kregen we een uitgebreide rondleiding vd Engelssprekende eigenaresse. Ontzettend aardige vrouw die verse groente uit haar tuin bracht en op de eerste dag ons een koelkast met benodigdheden voor het ontbijt bood. Zij gaf ons ook veel tips over bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving (juiste strand, wandelingen, wijnboeren, kastelen, grotten, evenementen in Ascoli Piceno en waar te parkeren et cetera). Na een half uur waren we gewend aan het geluid vd waterval. In bed klinkt alsof het buiten zachtjes regent. De tuin is prachtig en er is altijd een schaduwplek te vinden. Ook in augustus. De waterval is voor toeristen en Italianen te bereiken via een paadje achter de tuin langs. In augustus maken Italianen graag gebruik vd waterval en zwemvijver. Het is geschikt voor kinderen omdat het veel ondiepe stukken heeft. Neem waterschoenen mee voor de rotsen en keien in en om het water. Het water is heerlijk verfrissend. Op en top natuurschoon. De middeleeuwse molen is eenvoudig ingericht. Er is geen wasmachine, vaatwasser, televisie, oven en vriezer. De dikke muren houden de woning lekker koel. Je leeft er in en met de natuur. Neem in augustus een klamboe mee. Je kunt eten van de fruitbomen. Het is hier heerlijk onthaasten.

We werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw die ook vloeiend Engels sprak. Ze gaf ons een heleboel tips voor uitstapjes en ging samen met ons op verkenning in het huis, de tuin en natuurlijk ook aan de waterval. Het huis was klein maar had veel charme. Omwille van de geweldige tuin hebben we ons niet gestoord aan het kleinschalige. Twee kleine minpuntjes waren de basismiddelen (potten, pannen, bestek) in de keuken en de badkamer. Maar dit alles vergeet je alweer snel als je in de tuin en aan de waterval vertoeft. Deze twee aspecten geven je een paradijselijk gevoel! Ideaal voor mensen die graag in de natuur vertoeven!

Wat een mooi deel van Italie, de Marche, helemaal door deze prachtige, oude watermolen op een idyllisch plekje. Eigen waterval, zwempoel, verschillende terrassen, altijd zon of schaduw te kiezen. Allerhartelijkst ontvangen door de eigenaresse. Bergen, oude steden, strand, alles binnen een uurtje rijden. Enige minpuntje vonden wij de douche.

We hadden een heel warm ontvangst van de eigenaar. Uitermate vriendelijk. We zijn begin September geweest. Als de zon er was kwam deze pas om 11.00 bij het huisje en was om 17.00 weer weg. Hierdoor hebben we weinig buiten kunnen zitten. Het huisje was donker en koud en stoffig. Erg jammer want op de foto's zag het er heel aantrekkelijk uit.

Tijdens de (te) hete zomer, zaten wij heerlijk beschut tussen de bomen, met steeds de mogelijkheid een verfrissende duik te nemen in het koele water van de waterval (een héél mooi stukje natuur, op slechts 5 meter afstand van het privéterrein). De eigenares stond steeds ter beschikking en wist ons te vertellen welke de leukste plekjes in de omgeving waren om te bezoeken. We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad! Hele mooie streek, lekker eten en vriendelijke mensen.
