Welcome to Unnecessary, a beautifully renovated coastal retreat just a short stroll from Hoopers Beach and a scenic walk to Long Beach, Fox Beach, and The Outlet.

Please note:
• Pet friendly – outdoor only (by owner approval)
• Free Wi-Fi available
• Top bunks are suitable for guests aged 14 years and under only
• Under no circumstances are vehicles permitted on the grassed front area

Firewood is supplied during the winter months (1 June – 31 September). Outside of these dates, wood can be purchased locally from Robe Hardware (Mitre 10) or Robe Auto and Marine (opposite Foodland) at your own expense.

Unnecessary has been extensively renovated to create a modern, comfortable, and spacious holiday home with beautiful views over Guichen Bay. Designed for families or groups, the home offers multiple living zones and plenty of space to relax across both levels.

The lower level includes a bunk room with TV, a queen bedroom, bathroom, laundry, and a cosy reading/TV nook—ideal for children or teenagers to have their own space.

Upstairs, the open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area flows onto an extended deck, perfect for outdoor dining and enjoying the coastal outlook. The kitchen has been fully upgraded with modern appliances, making it easy to cook and entertain during your stay.

The upper level also features two bathrooms (main and ensuite), two large bedrooms including a master suite with queen bed, sea views, balcony access, and additional reading/office nooks for relaxation or quiet time.

• A $500 refundable bond is required for your stay
• No booking will be confirmed without a completed guest list and required details

Linen Information:
Bathroom and bedroom linen is supplied for your stay; however, only the required amount is provided based on guest numbers supplied at booking. If you would like beds made prior to arrival, please request this at the time of booking ($15 per bed, top bunks excluded due to OHS&W). Guests are responsible for advising the office of any special bedding configurations required. If no requests are made, bedding will be allocated based on guest numbers provided. Please remember to bring your own beach towels.
