This property is beautiful. Well kept up and very new. The staff is excellent - especially Nayella at the bar. She has such a great smile to greet you and have a drink with every night! The rooms are beautiful - as well as the beach access and pool area. Chairs are plentiful, even though people reserve them super early in the day, we were always able to find a spot to sit. Also very easy access to the West Bay Dive shop and operator, and several restaurants are accessible from the beach.

For such a large resort you would expect some introduction to the property at check in. No information was really given except my room number, I even took my own bags up to the room. The property is very nice but service still needs some practice.

Kimpton Grand Roatan Review

Kimpton was amazing! The restaurants I feel are the best on the beach strip. Beds are very comfortable. Only negative would be: housekeeping was slow and didn’t come a few times and room service never answered their phone. Great Pool and east beach access!

Decent stay

Staff was great. But people from other resorts and cruise ships were allowed access to the pool and beach chairs. There aren’t many.

My first time here. Unfortunately, I was on a busy business schedule so any of the amenities I could not enjoy. Never used the pool or beach but certainly enjoyed the happy hour and the evening atmosphere. The bungalows were a nice quiet retreat. Hope to stay in the hotel the next time and bring my wife to enjoy! Thanks for a great stay.

The staff is amazing , hotel is beautiful , just I don’t think there is a handicap walk way to get around the property , pool or beach. Besides that , I do highly recommend this hotel.

Exceptional people make all the difference.

The Kimpton Grand Roatan was exceptional. To start with this is a true 5 Star resort, incredibly high quality and absolutely beautiful. What sets this hotel apart from most hotels we have been fortunate to stay at though is the staff. They were friendly, intensive, professional and made our stay truly memorable. It shows that even the best hotels in the world need their people to deliver above and beyond. The owners and management should be proud of the team they have built. We can't wait to come back.

Some staff are helpful and friendly, but others are not helpful nor friendly at all. Resort is probably the best on the island, especially with snorkeling options right in front, but likely should not be 5-star rating. Food choice is very limited.

The property is gorgeous and the beach is extremely accessible for all guests. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The food is delicious. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

We came here for our honeymoon and we were so glad that we did! Beautiful property, wonderful amenities (snorkeling and glass bottom kayaking was included!), great location, wonderful spa!
