I booked this hotel to use the pool for exercise as shown on the site. I was told it’s for men only. With the current 2030 vision towards global tourism, this was incredibly disappointing! As an American woman dedicated to building long term business within KSA I will say that even with my deep cultural understanding and appreciation this will not attract tourists from America. Even the staff said they were disappointed in the ownership remaining under strict segregation rules while the rest of Riyadh is transitioning in the direction and wishes of His Royal Highness. Bottom line, if you’re a woman visiting Riyadh, this hotel should be a hard no!

Room was clean, only issue was with frigde that was not working. They replaced immediately but new one also not working. AC system I think still needs some improvement as it cannot refresh the air inside the room. Apart from that overall hotel was clean, new and staff were friendly.

I stayed for three nights with two kids. The staff are next-level humble and accommodating. A level of hospitality that is unmatched. I highly recommend Novotel Sahafa to any family.
