Welcome to Honeydew Cottage, a charming and newly refreshed home tucked into a quiet River Falls neighborhood just a short walk from the Kinnickinnic River and downtown. This cozy space blends thoughtful updates with a warm, inviting feel, creating the perfect place to relax while staying close to everything that makes River Falls special.
From the front door, it’s an easy five-minute walk to the Kinni, the iconic Swinging Bridge, and scenic walking trails that wind along the river. Downtown shops, coffee spots, and local dining are just beyond, making it simple to explore without needing to drive. During the spring season, guests can enjoy early kayaking, riverside walks, and the fresh energy of River Falls as it comes back to life after winter.
Inside, the home is designed for comfort and ease. There are two bedrooms, one with a full bed and the other soon to be a queen (though our photos still show a twin), along with a spacious living area and a fully stocked kitchen ready for everything from quick breakfasts to shared meals. The home comfortably sleeps four guests, with the option to accommodate up to six using our optional airbed kit available for your stay.
The layout is simple and accessible, with all living spaces on one level and just a single step to enter. The walk-in tile shower is spacious and easy to use, whether independently or with assistance, making the home a practical option for guests who value a more accessible environment.
You’ll also find central heat and air conditioning, in-home laundry, and all the thoughtful touches you might need during your stay. The neighborhood itself is peaceful and residential, offering a quiet place to unwind after a day by the river or in town.
Honeydew Cottage is available for a limited time through May 15, making it an ideal choice for spring getaways, early-season river adventures, and especially visitors attending UW–River Falls graduation.
