We was booked into the other wellton hotel. To arrive at nearly midnight with a 2 year old and be told we haven’t got a room due to overbooking, then said the hotel is too loud/not comfortable enough sized rooms. (Any excuse really) to then go to the new hotel with a tiny room. Given a bed for toddler all after midnight. No space in the room to even walk around the beds. Having to climb on the beds in the middle of the night which isn’t safe for a toddle or adults really. The food was ok, staff was trying to be accommodating. Told we could use the pool, for the pool to be in the spa area eg hot tub ect which a toddler can’t go in, hence why we booked the other hotel as it had a proper pool where we wouldn’t disturb anyone’s spa session. Highly disappointed if I’m honest.they said they’d been trying to contact us all day, but no email or message through the app and obviously can’t answer or reply when in mid-air.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay..we were in the separate block..very clean and spacious. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was fantastic. The breakfast was first class...couldn't fault it..so much choice. We had planned to use the spa but there was so much to do we didn't have time. The only tiny gripe was that there was no milk in the room but the bar staff gave us some when asked. We were, however, given a complimentary bottle of wine as it was my husbands birthday which was a really nice touch. We were right next to the old town which was perfect... Would highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic hotel located a very short walk from the old Town with amazing Spa facilities. We spent three nights here and wish it could have been longer! The Spa facilities are an extra supplement but you can include spa access when you make your original booking, which works out cheaper than paying to use them ad hoc. Breakfast at the hotel was very good, with a wide range of freshly cooked food available. Great staff, great facilities and great food, what more could you ask! We will return.

Not my first time here, and it won’t be my last. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the staff are friendly, it’s in a quiet location despite being in the old town. I haven’t used the spa, but the gym is good by hotel standards and there are plenty of options at breakfast, although if you time it wrong it can be tricky finding a table.

Took them 3 days of asking to put soap in the room. One person on reception suggested it wasn’t important. The swimming pool can’t be used whenever you want, you have to book online, and they limit the visits too - nothing tells you this when making the booking - very strange process. Good location though
