Classy Hotel

Lovely hotel on the edge of the old town across the road (or through the underpass) from where the 22 airport bus stops. Staff are lovely and the reception, bar and breakfast areas are beautiful. The room is quiet, tastefully decorated and comfortable and the bathroom is modern with a great shower. Breakfast was nice and set us up for the day. We made a good choice booking this hotel, would absolutely recommend and will definitely return when returning to the amazing city of Riga

Excellent hotel in the city centre, within walking distance from all the main attractions. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was outstanding with a big selection of hot and cold food items.

The Metropole is a beautifully renovated old hotel. We loved our stay here. It was convenient and the staff were so helpful and kind. Our room was well appointed with a huge king size bed! Really nice cosy hotel, my room was ideal as was a solo traveller..Staff really friendly, shoutoit to Igor as super helpful.. Mini bar wasnt cold and hester was not hot, housekeeping checked but did not make any difference. Would have been good to have more vegetarian hot food choices at breakfast. Would recommend the hotel though.

Enjoyable stay for our family

A charming hotel with a comfortable bed and modern interior. Breakfast was delicious. The only negative is noise from trams outside. The hotel does provide earplugs (which is a nice touch) but if you are a light sleeper, earplugs may not help.
