Wonderful to get such positive feedback on our outdoor bath. That is still a facility that I personally think is underused. It's great if guests give us advance warning, like you did, so that we can prepare the bath and get it all ready. ;)

Eco friendly quiet retreat

Pros: How clean and quiet it was...story of its build...the breakfast
Cons: the exit light shone in through the gap around the door to our room overnight...but I am a person who likes it dark to sleep
Location: Close to Rabbit Island, Mapua
pleasantly surprised by the communal kitchen living area experience. We met some lovely people and it added to the experience. The accommodation was very spacious and extremely clean with a very high standard of fixtures and fantastic views. The provided breakfast was a very relaxing experience. Timo the host was great, very helpful and available but not intrusive. We didn't use the provided pushbikes but on a longer trip would. It was far enough out of the centre of town to be very quiet and peaceful but close enough to all the action

Quiet, comfortable with excellent food.

A perfect location just a short drive from the heart of Nelson. Attractive decor with a huge breakfast. Outside dining with a wonderful country view. Timo, the host was very welcoming.
