Enjoy our cozy cottage in the desirable Reeveston neighborhood. This 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath home has all you need for a comfortable and quiet retreat.

This is our home away from home, so we invested in new super comfortable beds, fast Wifi to keep up with work or play, an exercise space, and an office perfect for remote work.

We're dog-friendly; pending breed and temperament approval.

I absolutely love creating a welcoming environment for guests and recommending local restaurants and activities. I hope that you enjoy your experience at the Scholars' Cottage!

We stayed 2 nights for our Earlham college reunion. It was a decent location but not as close to campus as we hoped. However the neighborhood was beautiful and it was walking distance to downtown. We enjoyed the fire pit.

This was a lovely home in a beautiful location. My friends and I came into town for a HS reunion and we hadn't seen each other for decades. The house was very comfortable and just walking through the neighborhood was a treat too. Communication with the property owner was seamless. Not only was there a binder with information regarding the home and local options but I was always sent an electronic version so that I could have it on my phone while driving around. Highly recommend this home if your visiting Richmond or need a place for your guests to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It was warm, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, making us feel comfortable the moment we arrived. The house is well-stocked with plenty of amenities, which made our stay easy and enjoyable. The location is also fantastic. Close to everything we needed while still being peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming getaway.

Very Cozy!

Loved the old charm of this property. Was a slight inconvenience being woke up 2 times in the middle of the night by water intrusion alarms in the basement but the owner was prompt the next day to get this handled. Second night slept like a baby and was great to have so many amenities to use to stay in and cook opposed to having more cost to eat out. The owner made sure to represent the property well, and set you up for success letting you know with pets there is no fenced area. Will definitely stay again should we find another dog show in this area. Thank you!

Charming home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mara was very communicative and the house was very cozy and charming. It was a delight to walk around the neighborhood and see all the beautiful historic homes. Our group of 5 adults had a great stay and we were able to bring our dog, which was great!

Surprise Gem!

This property was a last minute, need a place quick, booking for us. We just stayed overnight and only considered Richmond, Indiana, based on travel time and not as a destination. This is a great property in a great location . The owners are quick in communication, clear on the process, and friendly. I'm now wondering when we can make a quick weekend trip to Richmond and this property!
