Very calm atmosphere in a busy central location. Lovely large bedroom . Super breakfast served by a lovely lady called Maria. The only negative is that Rhodes old town is party central. The music is very loud until 03.30 emanating from nearby squares and bars. The only way to avoid it is to have the air conditioning on full.

Nice stay in the Old Town

A lovely stay in the Old Town of Rhodes. Our taxi was met by a golf cart to take us and our luggage to the hotel. Our cases were taken to our room We had a lovely room with a big bed and good air-con. We had a little sitting area outside with an umbrella. We walked around the old and new parts of town and had a relaxing stay. Breakfast was lovely and served in the lovely garden next to an old church. We had a bottle of wine on arrival and were provided with water every day of our stay which was great. There are bars and restaurants nearby so this place is in a great location to explore Rhodes old town - a nice time was had here.

We liked it so much we came back!

Having returned to Rhodes we had a less than satisfactory experience with communication from another property and decided to give up on them. I cancelled that me was delighted that St Artemis had a room available. Within an hour we were welcomed back and had the same wonderful reception in this beautiful little hotel. Oh and breakfast is amazing! Thank you so much for looking after us, I’d never book anywhere else in Rhodes.

This beautiful hotel is even better in real life than the photos. Maria and the team are friendly and thoughtful and the breakfast was amazing. What a stunning place, can’t recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely beautiful little hotel tucked away from all the noise and cruise boat tourists. Staff, especially Maria, is extremely kind and helpful including creating individual breakfasts every morning for the guests. We could not have wished for a nicer stay. Marianna, Maria and Maria looked after us wonderfully. We stayed at Saint Artemious guest house for 8 nights. The room was large and in an old medieval building with high ceilings and felt very spacious. We had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast everyday was freshly made and delicious. I was even made a fuss of on my birthday which was very touching. The property is tucked away in a quiet back lane very close to Soctratous Street and all the main attractions of Old Rhodes Town are in easy walking distance. Whatever the star rating of the property is we certainly had 5 star service. It was really lovely and I couldn't recommend it more.

Our stay got off to an excellent start and just got better and better. A golf cart met us at the gate and, although it was late at night, the hotel owner, Marianna, was there to welcome us. She even escorted us to a nearby restaurant which was still open. We had an excellent and leisurely meal and, when we asked for the bill, the manager informed us that he had been asked to contact Marianna who would be back to walk us home. My husband and I both have mobility issues and were given a lovely room with great air conditioning which opened onto the courtyard where Maria served us a lovely breakfast each morning. Although close to shops and many restaurants, as well as within walking distance of the harbour, palace etc., the hotel was quiet and sitting in the courtyard each evening was a pleasure, as was meeting the other guests. We had Marianna's direct line and nothing was too much trouble. Only vehicles with permits are allowed within the old city walls but there is a free municipal golfcart service which can be phoned or flagged down. We highly recommend the boat trip to Symi and have no hesitation in encouraging others to book a stay in Artemios or its sister hotel, Saint Nicholas. Satisfaction guaranteed. A huge thank you to Marianna and all her staff xxx

This is a 3 star hotel. There was a musty smell in our room, most probably from the old roof beams and old furniture. There is very little room for toiletries next to the bathroom sink. Our room was simple but functional, except for the bathroom, as I mentioned above. The breakfast lacks options: it is eggs every day or bread and industrial jam and yogurt with walnuts. No croissant, no spanacopita, no cheese pie. Cleanliness is the only 5 star attribute for Saint Artemios. We will probably look for a different hotel next time in Rhodes.

An amazing experience! Our stay began with Mariana walking us to the hotel from our drop-off point and giving us recommendations for various restaurants and bars nearby. She was so helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious and had all the facilities we needed, very clean and fantastic air con too. The breakfasts were absolutely fantastic. Maria, who served breakfast each morning was so friendly and obliging, we cannot fault any of the staff! Though very central and near some bars and restaurants, the hotel is down a quieter street, meaning you are only a few minutes walk from the centre but also tucked away enough that the rooms are quiet! If we are to ever visit Rhodes again, this would be our first choice! We wish all the staff the best.

The property is a hidden gem amongst the medaeval alleyways in Rhodes Old town. Just off a busy, exciting main street, you are in a quiet and quant property which has a fantastic and beautiful courtyard with its own original chapel. The property built in 1400 has been tastefully done to a high standard. The room had everything we needed and had a spectacular view across the roof tops. We couldnt thank Maria enough for the fantadtic breakfadt and anything you needed wasnt a problem. The owner Anna helped us with our taxi to the airport, taking us down to the Liberty gate helping with luggage. Highly recommended, will come back again!

We stayed here for two nights before moving onto Lindos and left wishing that we'd stayed longer. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town with lovely restaurants just around the corner but still walkable to the beach. The setting for the hotel is beautiful, surrounding a scenic court yard where breakfast is served in the morning. Finally the service was incredible (with a special shoutout to Maria who went out of her way to make sure we had the best stay). Definitely worth a visit and we hope to be back!

Fantastic location and lovely stay.

We arrived late and got dropped off at the nearest gate and then got a golf buggy to within the last 50m when we had to walk. It fantastic way to arrive in the Old Town. All very easy. Marianna was a lovely host. Very laid back and the staff were excellent. The hotel is tucked away from the main busy areas and is quiet.
