Relax in the hot tub after a busy day exploring and watch the shooting stars over the dark skies. Mayflower is in St Harmon, a short drive from the market town of Rhayader, ideal for those looking to explore this fabulous area. Gilfach Nature Reserve is within short walking distance from the property and offers moorland, woodland, rivers and waterfalls.
There is plenty to do in this area and a visit to the Elan Valley is a must, as the scenery is just simply stunning, with forested areas, waterfalls and Victorian dams, great for walkers, cyclists and bikers. Fantastic little getaway for just the two of us to celebrate our 2nd anniversary.
Fantastic little getaway for just the two of us to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. Really enjoyed the mayflower it was cute and very cosy. Fantastic places to venture out to take in the beautiful scenery. Would highly recommend and will likely book again.

Very beautiful cabin, If you are a large person of 6'2" you will find it very snug but still the location and general feel will make up for it. We spend most of our time in the hot tub and watching the stars.If we were to book again we will defiantly be booking on of the cabins that has a dog enclosure/fence as this was the only thing missing for us.

Stayed for a long weekend away and had a wonderful stay.
Stayed for a long weekend away and had a wonderful stay. Wonderful idilic location, it is a little far from any ammenities but there is a mini on site shop for basics. Reasonable drive away from local sites and places of interest. Cabin itself was in great condition, just a lot of flies to deal with at this time of year but even bug spray was provided! (Sorry for setting the smoke alarm off with it)
