Vom ruhigen, sonnigen Ortsteil Birnbach erreichen sie den Ortskern Reit im Winkl in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto. Mehrere Gaststätten sind im Umkreis von 10 – 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. In unmittelbarer Umgebung befinden sich im Winter eine Rodelbahn mit Einkehrmöglichkeit zur Hutzenalm, der Golfplatz Reit im Winkl / Kössen, Langlaufloipen, Wandermöglichkeiten, Reitstall etc. Weitere Ausflugsziele sind z.B. der Chiemsee, Berchtesgaden, Salzburg, München Kinder und Familien Urlaub mit Strassenfesten, Ponyreiten, Kutschfahrten, geführte Familienwanderungen und vieles mehr erwartet sie.
