I liked that the property was close to the beach and had a lot of restaurants and stores within walking distance. I didn't have to do a lot of driving once there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had a lot of unique touches. My room was a little smaller than what I'm used to, but I would definitely visit again.

While the overall cleanliness was ok, there was dirt/sand/hair in the corners of the room, corners of the bathroom sink countertop. The tub probably needs some drano, as it backs up a little bit.

We take a yearly trip to Dewey every year and usually get a beach house for a full week. This year, we decided to take a shorter trip and book a room instead. After much research, we decided to go with the Block Party hotels. At first we were skeptical considering beach rooms are usually seedy and dirty. However, much to our surprise our room was bright, clean and comfortable . There are two pools on either side and both have plenty of space, shade and sun depending on your preference. The attached coffee house has beautiful deck where you can utilize the extra space for a nice sunset happy hour or a comfortable breakfast. The service was also fantastic. Check in was really easy and towels were provided upon request. The outside gym was a nice bonus as well. Best of all though, is the location. The hotel can’t have a better location in Dewey- barely a block from the beach with lots of dining options surrounding. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone looking for a fun spot in Dewey.

I loved how close the hotel is to the beach and restaurants. I liked sitting on the roof top deck and listening to the music coming from the nightlife. The staff were very nice. I definitely will return.
