We selected this hotel for the location – which is fantastic – and wifi – which was unusable 90% of the time.
This is more a hostel than a hotel, so be prepared: there is no refrigerator, tea kettle or coffee maker, the bed was lumpy and over-soft with anemic pillows that provided no support (though we appreciated they provided extra when requested), we were prepared for noise as soon as we saw the complementary earplugs provided and it was very loud each night (the corner plaza provides prime skateboarding and public drinking territory), and they never replaced the towels.
The neighborhood and location are terrific: right next to the river, easy access for walks or jogs, and to restaurants in the town center as well as a short walk to our favorite haunt, the Wurstkuchl (an 800-year old brat house on the river). If you don't need the internet and don't care to feed yourself breakfast or coffee, the location alone makes this a worthy place to stay.
