Had a very enjoyable short break at Decoy Barn whilst we were in the area visiting relatives. Disabled friendly room with no steps to climb which was ideal for me after recovering from leg surgery and cannot walk unaided. Breakfast is optional and very reasonable priced for the lovely food you got and plenty of it. Certainly set us up for the day! Would highly recommend. Plenty of off road parking in private car park as well. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and we definitely hope to be back.

Absolutely amazing find. The hosts were lovely, accommodation was clean and well stocked. Very comfortable beds and lovely grounds. Great breakfast options and the hosts were happy to chat about loca recommendations. We will be back!

We enjoyed a lovely one night staff a Decoy Barn. We were given tea and cake on arrival and a lovely breakfast the next morning. It was a very comfortable bed which was much needed after a long journey. Many thanks.

We were very happy to have found this place and would really recommend it. Although we arrived a little late the owners welcomed us warmly and made us coffee. The room was comfortable and had a large bed. The bathroom was well equipped. We ordered breakfast £8.00 pp. There was a very good selection of food which was well cooked. Great Yarmouth was within easy reach

Loved the tranquility of the place. The garden is so beautifully maintained with an array of gorgeous, colourful flowers. The sound and look of the fountain is also so relaxing. The owners are very welcoming and lovely….and I very much miss Buddy the dog who was just a delight to have around! The beds were very comfortable and as I suffer from a bad back, this is very important to me. If I was ever to find myself in that area again I would stay here without hesitation.

Lovely small business, great night and stay

This was a sort of throwback stay not in the sense that any of the equipment or facilities were outdated but just in the sense that it the Decoy Barn is a small, family establishment with wonderful, kind and interesting hosts with some of the nicest hospitality I have had anywhere. A fair price and a good nights sleep all thrown in. Fully recommended.

Great place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Decoy Barn. This was our first trip to Great Yarmouth. John and Sussanah were very welcoming and friendly. John went out of his way to show us places to visit and to guide us to attractions nearby. The breakfast was very tasty, sumptuous and well prepared. The options available were more than one could expect from a standard bed and breakfast. The rooms were very clean and everything needed was available. We were allowed to use the microwave in the diner to heat food if needed. The view from our room was amazing. Parking was safe within the premises and there were adequate spaces for all. Wifi is available given that mobile signals are not so good in the rooms. Overall, a great stay in very clean premises with welcoming hosts and a great breakfast.
