The only reason we booked the Superior Inn was so our three children could use the pool and water slide. We were never informed during booking or at check-in that the pool was closed for maintenance, which was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, the lobby was chaotic, with over 30 unsupervised children running around and playing floor hockey. After entering our room, the experience quickly got worse. The bathtub faucet was leaking from the wall, with visible mold around the tub. The room was very dirty — we found hair on the bed, bathroom walls, inside the fridge, and on the coffee maker. The carpets were filthy and covered in sticky stains. Later, my son and I went to get ice and encountered multiple intoxicated guests in the hallway, including one vomiting on the floor. Throughout the night, drunk guests knocked on our door at 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., doors slammed constantly, and loud music played nearby, making sleep impossible. We booked two nights but left the next day because we felt uncomfortable and unsafe. When we spoke to the front desk, we were told we should have called ahead to see if there was a hockey tournament, as this behavior “happens all the time.” No apology or compensation was offered. This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families.

We were not impressed with the fire alarm going off at 2:30amish and didn't shut off for about 15-20 min. Of course we were all awake and had difficulty getting back to sleep. I tried calling the front desk to see what was happening but could not get an answer.
