Baymont Red Deer

The people were friendly but the repair and cleanliness of the building leaves something to be desired. Pot holes in the parking lot you could do serve damage to vehicles. Breakfast ends at 9:30 which is too early for me.

Just a quick stay over night. I was lead to believe there was a restaurant. Not even one near by, unless you need more pizza. Don't leave your credit card info. Still trying to get back 80+ over charge but I can't reach anyone to resolve the issue. Building is falling apart and smells bad.

A hit and miss. Unfortunately to many misses.

Unreliable wifi, TV kept turning off, fitness room equipment was broken, couldn’t even get a glass from front desk. Court yard was nice. Comfortable seating. Room cleaning took way too long. Basic breakfast was so/so. Place is going through a renovation and our room was not renovated yet. For the price it was ok. But hopefully after renovation it will be better.

It is an interesting hotel with rooms' balconies facing the pool, it would have been almost perfect if air conditioner wasn't this loud. It's an older building, seems that renovations are going on or really needs to be done. Natural tropical plants around around the pool and salt treated water... it really was nice. Nice distance to Sylvan Lake.

It’s a decent hotel that is going through renovations. The outside of the building is already looking pretty nice. The parking lot is in terrible condition with huge potholes everywhere. Our room was clean and totally fine for the price but the air conditioner would not stop blowing cold air. I tried to switch it off and it just kept going. Had to cover it with a towel because it was right next to the bed and I was freezing. The pool area looked very nice. It will be a very nice place once renovations are complete.

They were not prepared for breakfast, food always ran out. Their menu were only sausages, eggs, fruits/salad and pancakes were the only option and they kept running out. People were waiting standing by the steam table for food and the servers were not doing anything. Breakfast sucks overall.

overall stay was good, the room is very clean, and the staffs are sooo nice and friendly. we almost had a great time, but the problem was our sleep. My partner also got cut because of the piece of metal hangin out of the edge of the bed. there was a noisy dog barking, in one of the other room. The air conditioning wasnt working properly, it was soo hot, it was much colder in the hall way. I was so excited for the breakfast buffet, unfortunately, the serve a dry patty as meat. no bacon or other choices. the pancakes was dry out too. I wisg they have other choices for breakfast. i wish the management can look in to these problems so they would be able to solve any issues in the future.
this was the piece of metal on the edge of the bed, that cause a cut in her leg.

Never stayed at a Baymont where they did not make up the room every day etc. stayed 3 days and room wasn’t cleaned every day, new towels supplied etc. Not impressed

Hotel is run down and in bad need foe corrective maintenance. The ceiling in both rooms we had booked looked like it may fall down plus obvious signs of water damage. The stairs and atrium were filthy and look like they had not been vacuumed in some time. The atrium carpet was torn and badly soiled. there were no towels at the swimming pool when it opened. I asked two staff members for towels, and after 45 minutes I went to the front desk. A staff member went to the laundry and brought some out.
