My room was next to the kitchen, and there was always someone cooking — even in the middle of the night. The radiator in the room was broken, and the landlord hadn’t mentioned it beforehand. When we called him, he said there was a small heater, but it made a loud blowing noise that made it impossible to sleep. In the end, we had no choice but to turn it off and endure the cold and the noise from the kitchen. It was a terrible experience.

Excellent place yo stay. Private, clean , large bathroom with capacity for wheelchair. Delicious breakfast buffet. Room had a tv which was great to relax in bed and watch a movie after a busy few days of sightseeing and hiking. Highly recommend! Thank you

Katerina was an outstanding receptionist and got us situated in the area. Our wait staff at dinner (young woman from Czechia) was also very helpful and friendly, as was the receptionist on our departure.

It was a nice quiet hotel and quite accommodating. I had a mixup in my reservation, making it for the wrong date, but they were able to give me a room and refund the wrong date, despite the non-refund policy. They have a good breakfast. The rooms were nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice room and shower, more Northern American style than a lot of other hotels in Iceland. Lots of areas to place your luggage so that it was not on the floor.
