I had two rooms, the first one in the 5th floor did not get enough hot water, the second in the main tower, 4th floor had a leak in the front door, near the air conditioning , I think. By then , I just dealt with it. The condition of the lobby is bad. The staff is very nice tough and very pleasant

Good Hotel, attention to service needs work

The hotel itself is nice with the normal amenities one would expect from an Intercontinental Hotel. Unfortunately my experience included a room that had a leak in the ceiling. We are not talking about a drip, drip leak--we are talking full blown waterfall. I had to deal with that 3 times with multiple towels and ZERO response from the hotel. At check out, they offered to compensate a meal, but that never happened and really wasn't the issue. they should have just come and fixed the problem when it was reported. In addition to that, while the cost of Costa Rica is generally high, the excessive costs of food and drink at this hotel were way higher than expected--but the quality was very good.

the hotel was clean and well decorated. The staff were excellent and the bar was well stocked and the service was excellent. My only observation, is that for a property that large, it should have a small club vive place, nothing over the top. I didn't see a game room, like pool tables etc. if you have it, then I didn't see it.

Intercontinental IHG

Place is well maintained, friendly and easy to navigate. Front desk staff helpfulness was variable. Some went out of their way to unsure we were well instructed, others in the evening tended to be less invested in customer service. Overall, a nice experience.

They would not allow my driver to come in to the property, which was a big inconvenience. There’s no 24 hour room service. There’s nothing special about this property. It’s better to stay off of this property and go to an actual hotel. It’ll be a lot cheaper there cleanliness is exactly what I gave them. One star we told the housekeeping and the front desk manager That there was stains and rips on the sheer curtains, never replaced it. The glass sliding door never worked and our room was right up against the pool, which people could easily open up that glass line door. I will never ever stay in this hotel again for the price that they charge. Save your money or stay at another hotel

I rent a pool view room with the window so dirty I coudnt see the pool, also the lockbox wasnt working and the coffee mashine was leaking, we inform the staff about it but they didnt do anything about it. Other than that everything was perfect
