Facility Management lacking

Expected a bit of a nicer place with the Hyatt name attached. There was a weird funky smell in the room each time the AC turned off, TV was broken (screen very blue), the lobby was loud/annoying, lots of buzzing noises from the housekeeping room down the hall and the lights kept flickering. Staff was friendly and great, but the upkeep needed some focus.

The bathtub and shower not very clean (other people's hair on tile and tub) and quite outdated. No bottled water given in rooms, in-room coffee was the ABSOLUTE worst I have ever had. I am a nurse and drink all coffee but this was undrinkable. Property has a tiny bar with very limited beverages and the manager was mixing drinks, buthad no idea how to make the 5 cocktails listed on menu. Nice guy (and friendly staff overall, but he had no experience making drinks. Overall, I would not stay at this property again. Outdated, secluded from any restaurants or things to do. Only plus was it being close to airport.

Shauna’s Customer Service Was Deplorable

My check in was amazing. The gentlemen that checked me in was informative and very thorough. Check out was also exemplary. However, at 5:45 this morning, I sent the following text to the hotel text line after calling downstairs and ultimately going downstairs for towels. I had an appointment early this morning. After not being able to locate anyone, I sent a text regarding my request for towels and empty water bottles in the trash in my room upon check in I wanted to ensure I would not be liable for. Unfortunately, upon going back to the desk to see if someone was available, I was immediately confronted by Shauna who accosted me for sending the text to the Hyatt chat line as she stated she was right at the desk the two times I went downstairs. I acknowledged my actions, with the intent to later advise the issue was resolved. She continued angrily stating my actions would affect her employment. I am BEYOND appalled at her temperament, actions, and disposition. I will NEVER stay at the Hyatt and intend on escalating this matter with the District and Regional Manager.
