I booked a room here for my girlfriend’s birthday so she could relax and enjoy her day — but I’m honestly embarrassed I did. I’ve never paid over $200 for a single night in a hotel before, and I probably never will again. The service was worse than most cheaper hotels I’ve stayed at.
First off, there’s no room service at all. How do you charge that much for a room and not offer that basic amenity? Then, on top of that, there’s no free parking — you have to pay $25 per night just to park. That’s ridiculous for a hotel in this price range.
I also paid extra for a “city view” room, but the only thing she could see was a parking lot. Total waste of money. When she arrived, one elevator was broken, and by the next morning, none of them were working. To make things worse, there were loud drunk people making noise late at night. Does this place even have security? Because it sure didn’t seem like it.
The only thing she actually enjoyed was getting some sleep — and that’s not saying much for the amount I spent. I canceled a cheaper hotel to go with this one, and now I completely regret it. I’m beyond disappointed and embarrassed. Definitely won’t be booking here again or any “luxury” hotel like this in the future.
