Hotel was very clean. There were signs of an old building refurbished, like the low-feeling ceilings and painted over bumps in the trim, a patch of plaster on the bathroom wall where something had once been, but everything was very clean. There were lots of grab bars around the tub in our ADA accessible room, but no shower seat. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was an extra charge when we booked, which has not been the norm with our Holiday Inn Express experiences before. 12 minute drive to my conference at the Raleigh Convention Center. Lots of great eating places nearby. Taco Addicts was really tasty.
