The Gaia is one of a kind. With a nature reserve on the property we saw monkeys, macaws and a sloth. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the food was great!

An absolutely wonderful place to stay. The service was exceptional and the staff could not have been more attentive throughout my time at the hotel (organising activities, in the restaurant and generally just checking in to make sure everything was okay). The rooms are not the most beautiful, but the grounds of the hotel and the reserve are stunning. The wildlife on site is incredible. There is a very handy shuttle bus that takes you to the national park and the beach which was very efficient and convenient.

Great breakfast menu selection with large portions, there’s even eggs benedict! All of the staff were amazing, we received the best service here of all the places we’ve stayed at in Costa Rica. Lovely stay at the Gaia Hotel. The location is ideal and the staff was very helpful. The restaurant was excellent and accommodated my gluten issue. Gorgeous sunset views from the bar at the top of the resort. Because the resort ascends up the hill, there are lots of stone tile steps that can be tricky to navigate. Watch your step. Be sure to tour Manuel Antonio National Park (reserve a ticket in advance) and go to the swimmable beach in the park. The beach closest to the resort has strong currents. Be careful and listen to the lifeguards and don't go out beyond your waist.

The property was absolutely gorgeous. Having cocktails on 3rd floor watching the sunset was stunning. The entire staff was very attentive to our needs. We were a little disappointed with our dinner in the restaurant. Our meals were very over cooked. We were grateful that the staff prepared a to- go breakfast for us each morning since we had early excursions, however, the sandwiches and pastries were a little on the stale side. This resort would be exceptional with a few small changes to the food they offer.

Lovely location with incredible reviews. Seeing the released red macaws on site was a treat. Tours booked via the hotel were excellent and we appreciated the recourse when one of our tours did not work out. Really loved the upper sunset deck. Restaurant was decent. Just came back from a 1 week stay at Gaia Hotel. It was beautiful. The rooms are very clean, the staff are very friendly, kind and professional and so helpful. They go out of their way to make things perfect for you. We would definitely stay there again. Pura Vida!

The staff was fantastic! We loved our room and the grounds of the resort! The breakfast was so lovely every morning and getting to and from the resort to go on excursions was very easy!

Fantastic hotel wit high clean rooms, lovely restaurant and the friendliest staff. The restaurant staff and the security and logistics guys were absolutely amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. The macaw tour is a must do and if you want to visit the national park please book through the hotel and request Clarence- he was superb. His knowledge and enthusiasm was second to none.
