Alma Vida was an amazing place to stay during our visit to Manuel Antonio/Quepos. The property and grounds were gorgeous and they had three beautiful pools. Breakfast was included, which we got every morning and was really good. It is also really close to a lot of restaurants, bars, and shops, which you can walk to. We also saw a lot of animals on the property, including iguanas, agoutis, and monkeys.

Room is clean but dated. We stayed in a larger room with mini kitchen. Staff were all friendly. Location is perfect. Quite a few restaurants to choose from. Close to the beach. Older hotel with a nice setting in a prime location. Facilities were a little dated but some might consider this part of the "charm". Staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a Family Room which was well sized for our family of 4. A couple things would make it more functional: (a) Mini-fridge -- there's no way to keep any of your own drinks/food cold, (b) Shelving/storage -- besides the floor there are few places for 4 people to put their things.

Nice pool, staff friendly and also convenient and pro active. I really enjoy my room, was big, clean and with a nice balcony with a view on the jungle. Parking is easy and close to everything. Good breakfast too. Only little details, it has no yoga or meditation class as they say on the website. It’s sad, because the yoga studio is really beautiful.
