Wonderful stay. Overlooking the vineyards and located in a secluded location, very quiet and romantic place. The house is beautiful and the food excellent. Highly recommend!

The guesthouse is a lovely homestead with old world charm and modern conveniences, the views are outstanding and very quite if what you want is to forget the rush of city living. The hosts Karen and Sean are absolutely delightful and very knowledgeable about the area, they are very accomodating and responsive to your needs. We had a delightful weekend.

Beautiful well positioned traditionally styled 'ho

Pros: The ambience and furnishings, interior design, library, aspect and setting.
Cons: facilities for guests to make coffee and light breakfast could be better

Quiet, relaxing, close to vineyards and town. Ideal as a base for experiencing all the Mudgee region has to offer.

Beautiful farm stay with great views of Mudgee dis

Pros: Beautfiul clean space and amazing views of Mudgee
Cons: Nothing
Peaceful, quiet and relaxing with our friends. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants a relaxing quiet space to recoup.

the ultimate country hideaway

Pros: I liked everything everything, but the view is above average
Cons: a large sign on the main road would be handy, a little hard to find at night in the dark the first time.
Location: there are great places to eat all over Mudgee, wineries that are welcoming and generous, and visit the nearby towns of Gulgong and Hill End
WOW it does not get better than this, anyone thinking of starting their own guesthouse should come to Mudgee homestead to see how its done by the best. The place is beautiful, the view is beautiful, the breakfast was excellent, the host and hostess were exceptional. Sitting by the fire with a glass of port in one hand and a book in the other will be my memory of country living ecstacy, we are going back and we are bringing our friends. WOW

Pros: The panoramic views from the wrap around balcony.
Cons: I just wish there was a fridge in the room, there was a guest one to share though. Wifi is usually available but was down when we stayed.
