Exelent place and Exelent staff

I've been to many hotels around the world, even a few 5* in my time, but this has to be my all time favourite. It was small, quiet, clean, peaceful, comfortable (the only hotel that has been) and the staff go that extra mile always. It's also very close walk to pub street, markets etc. The area feels safe to walk in at night, plenty of places near by. Intro - So I was picked up by one of the staff members (Lucky) who was very accomodating, offered me water and a nice freezing cold towel to refresh myself. We were then driven to the hotel and had a nice little chat on the way. Once arrived in the hotel, I was asked to take a seat whilst everything got sorted. I was then presented with a tray of a nice refreshing local drink and some nibbles, as well as given a present of a nice Cambodian scarf. I was then told, because it was early (before 10am) that my room wasn't ready. I had no issue with this what so ever, but what blew me away was what happened next. I was advised that they have set up another room for a few hours so I can freshen up etc, never in my life has this happened and I thought this was an incredible gesture. Later on my room was ready, and my bags were taken away. Normally it takes me a few good nights to get any sleep, but the bed was perfect, not that just but the pillows! Normally they are rock hard. Free bottles of water replaced daily, and not just x1 but x4. Sitting at the pool on some days and they would bring over green tea (chilled) and snack

Great place to stay friendly staff but out of town but still good not too many places to eat out side the resort

If you want high speed lifts and shiny new marble don't stay here. If you want the very best in old world charm and hospitality them thesis your place. Built in 1929 according to the plaque I am sure that most of the tile on the walls and floors were original but immaculately kept. The staff were amazing and so friendly. They remembered everything we ordered from day one and when we came down for a drink or breakfast we barely needed to ask.
