Our house dates from 1897 is located in La Galga, a small but important district of the Municipality of Puntallana, just 400 meters from the Cube La Galga, a dream forest to walk among the lights and leftovers of the giant trees, hear the talk about the water of its natural springs, the creaking of millenary trunks, smell the wind ...
At about 5 km you can swim in the beach of Nogales, a beach of black sand, open to the Atlantic Ocean, enjoy the Charco Azul or the Fajana de Barlovento, natural pools in volcanic rock. And they can also rejoice with everything that Isla Bonita offers them: culture, gastronomy, agricultural environment, sea, vegetation, summits, ravines, etc. Highlight not only the closest but also the most distant: as the immensity and tranquility that our sky offers us, in which all the stars of nature are drawn, being able to contemplate them without moving from home, with the pleasure of tasting a good wine of our land.

Perfect, quiet retreat

Everything about the stay was great, such a lovely place. The location is fairly high up at around 500m, meaning amazing sunrises over Tenerife in the distance. The house is very cosy but with two outside areas for the sun - an upstairs balcony accessed through the bedroom (ideal for breakfast) and a small patio from the kitchen which gets the sun later in the morning and afternoon. The house has a large, stone flagged kitchen with everything you need. The lounge has a large stove and Carlos & Ulrika supply wood to burn. The house is located on a small isolated road, which sees maybe ten cars a day. In fact you get more people walking as it is on a popular route. Carlos and Ulrika are very welcoming hosts and directed us to an outdoor seating and bbq area which we could use. We visited in March and due to the height, it can get a bit chilly in the evenings but the fire
