The property was kid-friendly, minus the lack of ramps for strollers. The convenience for food was great, many restaurants with a lot of variety. Room service was quick and you can schedule a time slot for your food to arrive which was very convenient when planning around kids, I felt ordering something I knew they’d eat in the room and then going to dinner was safe so they weren’t hungry and waiting and possibly disappointed. The facility was clean and the staff were really nice.

SLS Playa was a great spot to relax and enjoy a week away from the day to day we all deal with. The staff were excellent, always willing to go beyond to make your stay pleasant. From the pool staff which were fantastic to the restaurants they all treated you like you were the only people in the restaurant. Always more than enough food and drinks. Rooms were always clean and well stocked with lots of goodies. This was one of the best experiences we have had and would have no concern recommending this for any group family couples or friends to enjoy the excellent resort. I am sorry I forgot the names of the individual servers and hosts, but I can say that they were all fantastic. No disappoints at all. Overall it was an amazing experience. Super friendly and attentive staff. Food was incredible. My favorite being Characol the Mexican restaurant. Should you be lucky enough to ha e Suri as your waitor your sure to get the full experince! Evening drinks on the beach we were served by Selena, she made us feel super comfortable and was very attentive. Evening entertainment was awesome. Will definitely be going back!

Lovely brand new resort Excellent restaurants and bars. Beach was nice but not as beautiful as others in Cancun, Main complaint the music. On all day at high volume loud techno beat pounding day and night No escaping the music at the pool in the evenings!!!

The property is just new and beautiful but nothing more than that. The service is really poor the food is limited the staff is not prepared, you ask for smth they say "yes,Yes" and nothing is done . Don't go with high expectations you going to be disappointed . From my experience to Cancun this was the "worst".

The resort recently opened in November of 2024 and it is beautiful. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. They are on top of everything and are efficient. The dinning options are amazing and the food quality is too tear. Hector from the monkey bar makes the most delicious drinks. I would highly recommend checking him out. Overall a 10/10 experience and I would definitely go back.

Hotel it is and looks brand new , beautiful and extremely well put and clean all the time you won’t find trash or anything dirty anywhere as I’ve encounter in other stays at other places , food is fantastic not sure about other reviews believe me when I tell you is fantastic !!!service was phenomenal as it is everywhere in Mexico, our room was ocean view and was indeed a very nice one! The cocktails are awesome quality anywhere you get them, the only downside is that entertainment is very very poor but I knew that before going they don’t even have a theater or anything similar for entertainment, it’s outdoors…. And it’s more family oriented than anything so if that’s the most important thing for you this is def not the place , there are not pool parties or pool activities other than the dj so I can say it filters a lot of messy guests , this is more like a relaxing experience with high food and drink quality. If that’s what you are looking for you can’t go wrong !

Everything was great and we had the most amazing family vacation. This hotel catered to both families and adult only groups. Food was incredible and we loved not having so many buffets. You never got sick of the food and the food itself was delicious!! Staff from all over the resort were so helpful and made our stay amazing. Would definitely recommend this resort to everyone!

Overall experience was good, not excellent. Food was great for an all inclusive. Coffee bar was good. Smoothie bar was horrible- staff was not friendly, fruit was not fresh, smoothies tasted horrible every time. Smoothies when ordered in the restaurants were excellent. Service overall was lacking. At restaurants, they would take drink orders first and take 45 minutes to bring it. Then take food orders. Food orders would take another 45 minutes but because it took so long, food would come out cold. Had to tell every waiter every time to deliver food as soon as it is ready to get food warm. I shouldn't have to say that to them. They also would clear plates but not clean the tables between clearing plates. When drinks were ordered again, would literally come at the end of the meal or not come at all. Really slow table service everywhere. Pool and beach service was horrible. Drinks took over an hour, food took over 2 hours by the pool (even when tipped $20 did not make a difference). Not a lot of umbrellas by the beach. Not enough wait service by the beach. You're lucky if they came by once. Beaches looked clean though. Ran out of towels by midday fo beach/pool. Asked for evian water and it never came or came late in the day to the room. The website you use to make rsvp for restaurants and call for room service is so slow. Wifi service is slow/goes down. Room service menu for all meals is very limited and terrible. The room walls/doors are very thin, can hear noise.

The property is great, the only downside is there is no buffet for lunch or dinner but food is easily accessible and pretty decent. Overall the food was great, there was a few things we tried we didn’t like but mostly everything was good. Drinks are yummy. Service is great, the waitstaff is extremely quick and attentive. Kids pool and club is perfect for an array of ages. Extremely kid friendly resort. Rooms are cleaned 3 times a day which is very nice. Adults only pool is beautiful. It’s a little tough to walk down to the beach, no clear path/steps from the kids pool area but overall we enjoyed everything about the resort and don’t have any major complaints.
