My stay at the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort was honestly very disappointing. The biggest issue was the staff attitude and service quality throughout the property. The pool staff in particular were mostly rude, unwelcoming, and often condescending. There were long waits just to be acknowledged, take an order, or receive service, and it often felt like guests were an inconvenience rather than welcomed.
Housekeeping was also inconsistent. Our room was rarely cleaned properly unless I called to request it, and even then the cleaning felt rushed and incomplete.
At the restaurants, staff were not helpful in explaining how reservations worked and were very abrupt in their responses, simply saying they were fully booked without offering guidance or alternatives. There was very little hospitality or warmth overall.
As someone who travels often and is used to high-quality service, this was one of the weakest service experiences I’ve had at a resort hotel. Based on service alone, I would not recommend this property. I’ve received far better hospitality and customer care in places like Mexico and the Dominican Republic, along with comparable or better beaches.
Unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations at all.
