Nice spacious location. Not far from the airport. Great staff overall from the front desk to the animation team. Enjoy the night show (Saturday night Micheal Jackson themed, amazing performers), beach party Sunday night. Buffet options are good considering, reserved 2 restaurants, Brazilian (fogo sytle) and Asian (hibachi), which were both a great experience. Process to reserve the restaurants was quick and easy. Had a problem with the plumbing the second night and was swiftly accommodated with another room. Pool side animation, drinks, cappuccino cafe, ice cream parlor, sports bar and everything was very good for the price.

We had a great time at the Tropical Deluxe Princess. Wonderful and friendly staff, beautifully breathtaking grounds and gardens, and well maintained pools. Beaches had some seaweed but the resort makes every effort to keep them clean constantly. The food at th buffet was excellent and had lots of variety. Would highly recommend.

The staff was amazinglly helpful especially a guy name julio. He was pretty simple. The only thing I had issues with is the bulldozer all morning and afternoon on the beach. Also there was a terrible smell of gas and other smells by the pool. Like rotten eggs everyone smelt it many times. Much wildlife. All in all the resort is definitely worth it. Would come again it time permits

Check-in was at 3 pm and I had to wait until 4:30 pm. The attitude of the employees is not good, the beach was not cleaned, the transportation to return to the airport, I never found the person in charge of Destination Service, I had to pay for a taxi.

I rarely write reviews, but after staying at this hotel, I felt the need to share my honest experience in hopes of helping other travelers avoid the same mistake. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place did not meet the expectations promised online. The hotel is severely lacking in entertainment or any kind of activity for young people. There were no shows, games, music, or even basic efforts to create a fun or lively atmosphere. If you’re under 40 — or traveling with children or teenagers — you will be bored out of your mind. We kept waiting for something to happen in the evenings, but there was absolutely nothing. The food situation was equally disappointing. They served almost the same limited menu every single day. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all looked and tasted the same — bland, repetitive, and completely lacking in variety. There were no local dishes, no themed nights, and hardly any fresh options. By the third day, we were already looking for food outside the hotel because we just couldn’t take it anymore. Customer service was another major letdown. The staff, for the most part, seemed disinterested and even rude at times. It felt like we were bothering them just by asking simple questions. There was no warmth, no smiles, and no real effort to make guests feel welcome. A couple of staff members were polite, but overall, it was clear that guest satisfaction was not a priority here. The rooms were basic — not terrible, but nothing special either.

Only If your on a very strict Budget then visit this resort. Staff very pleasant and welcoming However lots of Mosquitoes in the rooms, only one pool towel exchange booth far away, long wait time for trolley, no entry/exit steps from pool have to swim to the shallow side to exit, very Inconvenient. Asked for additional towels and never received them. Resort needs updating as rooms smell Humid. Bring insect repellant wash cloths and toiletries for your own comfort. Buffet and At La Carte restaurants are below average. Did enjoy the peacocks on the property

It's simply a paradise, everything is so perfect and beautiful, The service is perfect the room is so nice the beach Wow Me personally I didn't like there food even though they have a lot of options but I think they can do better besides that nothing wrong

The entire staff was excellent. The buffets were okay. I would definitely recommend doing the platinum upgrade because those meals were delicious. My room was very clean. It seemed like every time I left the room it was magically perfect when I got back. The spa was good, but it seemed like it was a little bit of a secret to use it. All of the pools were beautiful and clean, but not overly full of chemicals. Knowing at least a little bit of Spanish is definitely helpful. It was also beautiful at night. They had a lot of lightning and security. They also had activities throughout the day. I would go back.
