The property was nice but the service was okay due to no one speaking English as a resort it should have someone to speak or understand. While I knew a little Spanish but not enough to fluently speak. The night life was boring this was a more relaxed resort with little to nothing at night going on

The hotel was nice but the restaurants took forever to serve you and in the end mixed up our plates. Food here is more American sad to see more Dominican dishes . Also found a cockroach in the food and in our room. I get it’s expected here for the beach areas but it is a tad gross to find one in food and in the rooms

irst, what I liked about this hotel was the treatment of some of the staff, the friendship and personalized attention of the head chefs and restaurant managers, as well as the administrators. What I didn't like: 1. The private service for the Elite pool wasn't fulfilled, as many non-Elite guests were swimming in the pool, as the area was free to enter without physical barriers protecting it, only signs. The beach was dirty and smelly. 2. The food was very repetitive and lacking variety, except for Wednesday Dominican night, THE BEST NIGHT. 3. The hotel was boring at night with no music, and the bar closes at 11 p.m. 3. For me, it's not 5-star; I recommend you book the family room.

Bed was comfortable. Our room was spacious and comfortable as well. We liked our private pool and the dining options. The mama juana shots were great. We experienced some minor inconveniences but enjoyed our short stay overall. The laundry service is not free and they charge you per piece of clothing. The spa services is also not included in all-inclusive.

This was my 3rd trip to Serenade All Suites. I love the friendliness of the staff. They make guests feel welcome and important. Some have suggested they remembered me from my previous stays. The beach is beautiful, although the algae was an issue. The smell was overwhelming. But, they cant control mother nature. The rooms were not ready by check-in and we had to wait a while to get into our rooms. After a long flight, that was very frustrating. Housekeeping and room stocking was very inconsistent. We only got washcloths when we specifically asked for them, which i found strange. Our refrigerator and snacks were also inconsistent, with getting peanuts, or chocolate, or chips, but never the same thing twice. We had a 3rd person in our room and housekeeping was asked twice to make up the sofa bed, but they never did. My son went to sleep that first evening without sheets or pillows. That was frustrating also. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Maintenance is very slow to respond to any need. We were locked IN our room for hours while the called in 5 different people to open the door. The walls are poorly constructed and condensation warps and expand the wood. Also, we could not lock our safe on the first day. It was fixed, but then our stuff was locked IN the safe and we were unable to access it until the very last minute of our 7 day stay. There is literally NO change to the menus in the buffets and the "specialty" restaurants were mediocre at best. All activities and dining options on the family side were invisible on the app and we ended up missing out on many events.

The front desk was awesome. We upgraded but the butler never reached out so the 500 resort credit was forfeited we were never told what we were supposed to have according to our room upgrades. So we left disappointed. But hotel looked amazing drinks were tasty, food was better than expected.

It was a very comfortable 6 night stay. Their food was great and staff were very friendly as well. The activities were lively and the pools were awesome. The beaches were underwhelming w the algae season in full effect during the summer but the pools made up for the lack of beach time.
