Beautiful property. Biggest negative was the muddy murky ocean and seaweed that washes ashore. You are able to see the beautiful blue water beyond the barrier but the water you swim in is horrible. The staff was wonderful, friendly and always happy. The "butler" that came with our room was not very present and didn't follow through with our requests for room service on the morning of my birthday. The resort was hosting a 700+ person convention with people trickling in during our stay. Luckily the majority and main event was happening after we left, they were a bit overwhelming. The property is large and somewhat difficult to find activities/events that are going on. The map on the app needs an update as it's very basic. First time at Secrets, loved the resort but probably won't return to this location based on the ocean conditions. Preferred option is worth every penny!

The service was top notch compared to other bigger hotels, you can tell they genuinely care. The food was insanely amazing and the drinks were flowing. Definitely recommend.

Room was kept spotless. Great room service. Great staff/servers by the pool during the day and on the beach. The servers are all so friendly, always smiling and happy, so happy to get whatever you need or want. Beach had a lot of seed weed but not anyone's fault. Just mother nature. Bars/restaurants very well equipped with whatever you wanted. Once again, I have been to many all inclusive and non and the staff at this resort were incredibly happy and wanting and willing to help and get you whatever you wanted. I was extremely impressed. I should have taken some names down because there definitely a few that needed to be mentions and pointed out to how hard they work and want to make the guests happy.

We would like to start by giving a big shoutout to DJ “Cepillín.” From day one, he was the only one consistently making sure our group was taken care of—helping us with seats, drinks, and recommendations on the best things to do. His energy and professionalism truly stood out and made our stay more enjoyable. That said, there are areas that need improvement. Even though we had a concierge assigned, it often felt like we were guiding the process instead of being assisted. We upgraded two out of three rooms for our group of six, but the service did not reflect that upgrade. The champagne and snacks that were part of the package were requested several times and only delivered on the last day. One bathroom had two showers, one broken and never fixed despite reporting it, and in another room the A/C was too high and nothing was done about it. At checkout, our concierge asked us what time to pick up luggage, but it was never arranged, causing the airport driver to wait 30 minutes while we rushed to leave. The entertainment team overall—including the DJ, dancers, and bartenders—was fantastic, always making sure guests had fun. Food was good overall, though one night at the Italian restaurant the bread had ants, which was disappointing. This property has great potential, but service and follow-through need work. With better attention to detail, this could easily be an outstanding experience.
