We just got back from Punta Cana and had the pleasure of staying at this amazing resort—though only for one night due to a canceled flight and no availability at our original hotel. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, Jeifry welcomed us with a smile and excellent service. He made check-in smooth, gave us a tour, and made us feel like we had known him for years. Our room wasn’t ready right away, but Jeifry promised to do his best—and by 2 PM, we were in! He even made a dinner reservation for us at the hibachi restaurant and personally walked us there. The food was great, just a little salty, but we really enjoyed the experience. The resort’s nightlife was amazing! A live band played Dominican hits, and we had so much fun dancing. We also watched a Dominican dance show—though it was a bit warm in the theater, the performance was fantastic. We loved the layout and design of the resort—spacious, beautiful, and full of spots to relax or explore. At night, we noticed security at the beach and pools roped off for safety, which we appreciated. At check-out, Jeifry met us again, stayed to chat, and made sure everything went smoothly. His customer service was truly the best we experienced during our entire trip. We’ll definitely return and bring our whole family next time. Thank you for the unforgettable experience!

Our concierge Jeifrey was amazing. Super nice and attentive to our needs. All of the staff at the bars and restaurants were amazing people. Super welcoming and friendly. Food was top notch. I have eaten at many japanese restaurants and by far yours is the tastiest.

El Hotel es bonito, remodelado, el personal es amable, el buffet es bueno. Sin embargo, solo hay dos piscinas y no son tan grandes. Siempre estan a full, una de ellas está muy sucia, el agua muy turbia. La playa está pésima llena de algas y marea alta. En la discoteca no ponen el aire , el calor es horrible. En el teatro los asientos rotos, tambien habia calor . La animación no es buena . Poca diversión para niños y adultos . No permiten musica latina , dicho por los mismos trabajadores del hotel. El mini bar de las habitaciones no los rellenan nunca, solo si dejas propina. La limpieza de la habitación es pésima. Las toallas estan empercudidas. En varias ocasiones tuve que llamarles la atención por este motivo y dar propina como estímulo. Nos encontramos par de cucarachas en la habitación . Necesitan fumigar . Mi familia que eramos 23 la mayoria vinieron enfermos del estomago , entre ellos niños. Suponemos que sea la falta de higiene en las piscinas. Definitivamente no volviera a repetir la visita.

The beach was covered in sand bags. It would be great if they filled in the beach. ***Although the bags may be for safety reasons) The resort app isn't very user friendly. I would definitely go back if the beach improves.

The property was okay overall, but there’s definitely room for improvement—particularly when it comes to restaurant reservations and pool maintenance. That said, the staff was excellent. Jeffrey, in particular, went above and beyond to make my experience better, and the coffee shop team was also very friendly and welcoming.

A beautiful property with many amenities. Several pools to choose from. Service staff very friendly and helpful. Buffet food was excellent with so many choices!

This resort was wonderful!! The food choices was very good. We really enjoyed Zen and Hunter Steakhouse. Thumbs up to Ari and Zuleida in the beach bar. Another thumbs up to Orlando at the pool and Argenis in the restaurants. These people are awesome. Two thumbs down to Pamela. She is very rude and should find her another job that doesn't involve being around other people. I give this resort 5 stars.

Buena experiencia y recomendado. No le di las 5 estrellas porque reservar en los restaurantes es una odisea casi imposible, que crea malestar ya que no es la expectativa. Si logras conseguir reserva, son muy buenos y el Tepanyaki es el mejor. Si no lo logras,al menos tendrás buena experiencia en el buffett ya que el salón es muy bonito, limpio y la comida muy buena.

Since our arrival, my stay at the Royalton Punta Cana has been among of the best. The check-in process was quick and simple, and Jefrey was always helpful and attentive. The meal was excellent, and Jefrey was able to make reservations at nice restaurants while we were there. I had an amazing vacation; the cuisine was delicious, the rooms were clean, and the buffet Macré had fresh juices, steaks, fish, and seafood that was prepared to order on the grill. Th hotel's Expedia dedicated customer service team was excellent, and I heartily recommend it! Jefrey is a fantastic asset, always attentive to the customer's needs.

We experienced several serious issues during our stay that significantly affected our overall experience: • The glass panel in the bathroom was practically detached and had no seal, causing water from the bathtub to flood the entire floor after each use. • The bed sheets and towels were worn out and stained. • The food at the specialty restaurants was poorly prepared, and the service was extremely slow. • The flooring in the water park area was dangerously slippery, leading to multiple falls — especially among children. • The family pool had broken tiles, which caused several cuts on the feet of my 3-year-old son. • At check-in, we were informed that checkout was at 12:00 p.m. However, when we checked out at 2:00 p.m. — after lunch and having already handed over the room to the cleaning staff on time — we were charged a fee for late checkout. This policy was never clearly explained to us upon arrival. I believe these issues should be addressed promptly to ensure a safer and more pleasant experience for future guests.

The property is huge! It’s a very beautiful hotel. Alot of food options. We paid for the diamond club upgrade, the only thing I didn’t like was some of the diamond club bars did not have the premium liquor of our liking. So we did drink from our own bottle in our room a lot. Other than, the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
