I stayed at the Royalton Chic from 7/17/25-7/22/25
Over all Id give it a 3/5. The resort itself appeared clean and kept. But you can definable tell it’s pretty old. I stay on the 1st floor of building 5. The room I stayed it was a single King bed. The room appeared very lived in. Wall defects, scratches and dents on the furniture surfaces.
The check-in process was seamless as I arrived around 4pm. I was given my room
Key right away and escorted to my room.
The food 😬. What can I say….it was All inclusive resort food. But I was able to pick from the variety items that suited me as I am not a picky eater. The best restaurant was Tandori in my opinion. It was the Indian restaurant. There weren’t really any chaises for late night eats from what I could tell. I didn’t even bother with room service and I request ICE twice and the first time it never came, and the 2nd time it took over an hr. The Sushi restaurant was closed for renovations. I was a bit of an eye sore I must say. But they used to Buffet to supplement.
The service was great! Marcos at the pool Bar was amazing! He took care of my guest and I the entire time. Even made sure we remembered to eat in between the day drinking lol. Gustavo was also great Marcos.
The pool music was Meh….. so I often brought my portable speaker around with me. The resort entertainment was meh. But I’m not really into generic dance shows and things like that. But people seamed to be entertained!
The WiFi was suitable.
