Adoni since we arrived and even before made sure our experience here at Royalton was at is best . From we we arrived he made our dinner reservations and until the last day of we left . Never been to a resort where anyone did this but Aldoni made sure every day we were great - ! Definitely recommend this resort and ask for Aldoni next time you come here.

I went there for my birthday celebration alongside my family. It took 1hour for us to get checked in. Once checked in our rooms were dirty. I’m talking about dirty sheets, visibly dirty pillow cases, dirty bed skirts, the fridge has yellow residue inside of it, the room had bugs crawling on the floor and it was mosquito infested, the towels were smelly/old looking. It took them 24 hours to change our rooms to something better. They did not want to compensate us for the inconvenience. I made a conscious decision to not let that rough start ruin my birthday vacation. I was so disappointed.

De 4 habitaciones que tuvimos, hubo problemas con el agua en 3. Se iba la luz. El aire acondicionado de una de las habitaciones no funcionó, tuvieron que cambiarnos a otra habitación. No se podía hacer reservaciones para los restaurantes. casi todas las noches, comimos en buffet. Que está chévere, pero la idea de los restaurantes es poder ir a ellos. pero no vale nada, si siempre están llenos y no hay capacidad para hacer las reservaciones. Nos regalaron un Day Pass para el parque de agua en el otro Hotel nunca pudieron ponerse de acuerdo en qué era lo que teníamos que llevar para poder registrarnos en el otro hotel. Las piscinas estaban siempre sucias. Las cervezas de las barras de las piscinas. Sabían extrañas. Las cervezas estaban caliente en todas las barras del Hotel. Las habitaciones no estaban bien limpias, no recogían la basura del zafacon, no llenaban la nevera del cuarto con cerveza ni agua. Hemos estado en 12 a 15 hoteles en Punta Cana y en este nos aburrimos. No tienen entretenimiento adecuado. No lo recomiendo. Le falta mucho por mejorar

The check in process was horrendous. We waited hours just to get our room. When we entered our room the AC was not working well. My daughter and I took a shower and the towels were so dirty there were stains in all of them. One towel looked like a rag for cleaning. After we finish taking a shower we had a big leak in the toilet side. They transferred us to another room the next day. However, the towels were still dirty with stains and then we found a cockroach near the cups. We also had to keep calling the guest services, about our restaurant reservations. My daughter used the bathtub and they ended calling us because it caused a leak in the room down below. The shower head was broken and not well maintained. This trip was supposed to be relaxing and it ended up being stressful.

The check-in process was extremely inefficient, taking nearly two hours due to only one staff member at the desk and a non-functional pre-check-in option on the app. Upon arrival, our room lacked towels for the family and bed linens for our son. Despite calling multiple times, linens arrived after two hours, but towels were never delivered. The next morning, we experienced a power and water outage without any notice from the resort, causing further disruption. Even after water was restored around 11 AM, we still had no towels, despite repeated requests—including one made in person at 8 AM. When I escalated the matter at the concierge desk, I waited 20 minutes before speaking with the manager, Pedrito, who acknowledged the issues but did not resolve them. Instead, he introduced me to our assigned concierge, Estalin, who unprofessionally requested that I not leave a negative review about the previous evening to avoid his personal accountability. This experience was marked by poor communication, inadequate service, and unacceptable delays in basic guest accommodations. The only highlight of the visit was Eddy, our waiter in the sports bar and Hunter Steakhouse which made our last day at the resort pleasurable.

Hot ,no A/C in common areas includingrestaurants. Rooms needs TLC (11410) Food was not what we expected, under average. If you wan t to sweat go to this this place in summer.

Our room wasn’t very clean, the smell of mildew was present throughout our stay. The AC didn’t work when we first got there so I’m assuming this is why the mildew smell was present. I think the room needed a deep clean as handles and other surfaces had mold present.
