The staff was rude, food was not good at all, had to go off the resort for good food, we also had to upgrade to the diamond club for better service and still not so great every one had access to the diamond club era just not a resort I would say at again

Rooms look clean in the picture but we experienced cockroaches inside the room. The pools had dead bugs in it and the dead roaches which i guess were washed off after the flashy rain. There are restaurants on the property but with limited dining option. No AC at all in the restaurant specially in the Japanese one. We were so sweaty that we couldn’t finish our food but had to walk out without eating. The Italian restaurant was closed half the time we’re there, couldn’t get a chance to visit that place not a single time. I would suggest that check out the other properties before booking this one as we were a group of 13 and everyone has the same perspective. We did not read the reviews well and hence ended up getting this property. Unfortunately, if we visit Domican Republic again, we are not going in this property..

Some staff was friendly. Paid extra for the diamond club, don’t waste your money. The soaking tub was old and leaked. They do not change the bedding every three days like all other hotels and resorts. You have to ask for them to be changed. I accidentally waste pineapple juice on the blanket but instead of changing the linen with the big stain on it, it was nicely smoothed out and remade with the rest of the bedding. Good at the resort was pretty good. Male staff are very annoyingly flirtatious. Check in was a joke. No one wanted to help. Asked three people about checking in for diamond club and all just pointed to another person. After standing 45 minutes in a line that I shouldn’t have, I asked one of the ladies walking giving welcome drinks(one that I was not offered or given), she told me that my check in was in a whole other building. I will not return on my next visit. Was definitely it worth the money. Also, don’t book with Nexus tours on site. They are a rip off.

Royalton Bavaro is an Amazing place to stay about everything specially the lazy river I give 20 star of 10, the employee very nice and attentive specially Wendy at the Martini Mix Bar at night time, in the dining options I give 7 star from 10 cause to do reservations is really hard. Thanks for everything I’m coming back soon.

Room was dirty since we arrived, room service was only making beds and not cleaning nor refilling any of the soaps or towels. We reported leak and was never fixed so floor was always wet and dirty. Food on resort wasn’t the absolute worst but not good at all. Workers were rude and looked like they did not want to be there. We spoke Spanish and could understand the comments they were making about other non Spanish speaking tourists. Some workers wouldn’t even acknowledge you talking to them. Would not recommend.

The property was well maintained. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was mediocre and was cold most of the time in the buffets. The AC was not working properly in the dining rooms and made for an unpleasant experience.
