Las comidas aunque sean en los restaurantes especializados son buffet, en sabor es ok pero algunas estaban fria, cuando te sentabas a comer en el salon principal habian moscas y si te sentabas afuera eran las palomas. En los pasillos por las mañanas el personal de housekeeping literal gritaban y se escuchaban en el cuarto. Los cuartos necesitan mantenimiento el aire acondicionado la primera noche no funciono. El drenaje de la ducha estaba tapado lo dijimos y siguio igual bajando bien lento. La ultima noche se fue la luz a las 3 de la madrugada y al parecer no tienen generador porque estuvo media hora sin luz luego volvio y se fue. Para que lo tengan en cuenta si dependen de maquina C-PAP para dormir. El personal del hotel Habian personal amable y otros para nada amables. Los shows solo una noche hubo un buen show.

I thought housekeeping was very clean. I notice a big water bug roach on the hallway floors. I put a towel under room 3009 front door to keep any bugs out. Maybe weather striping under door will help. Room was cleaned every day. Resort personnel was always helpful, good food, good choices. Planning our next year vacation with my 19 and 22 years for the same week next year. They loved the Riu party and activities. Bars and pools is the reason, they wanted to come. The Riu party was a big suprise. I was concerned that the Disco had no security staff inside on Saturday night 12/20/25. Overall, the price was good for the money and is the main reason we are coming back next year. Thanks to your staff

The room was ok. Staff works hard and even though they don’t all speak English, they try to accommodate. Smith at the front desk was exceptional. He helped me every time. Beautiful place to visit.

The swim up bar was amazing. Food wasn't good to me at all.Entertainment could have been more diverse. Should have been a mixture of all cultures far as music .Staff was very nice. Rooms needs a make over. I had no hot water throughout my hold visit. That was disappointing. Need elevator,my room was on 3rd floor.

Rooms were not in condition, mold in the 2nd room and caused me to have an asthma attack and the next 3 of the rooms also had mold. The last room was not too humid, but the bathroom had a septic fowl smell every day, the shower door could not be open completely to avoid the water from coming out, my husband had to kill a roach and the towel rack was falling out of the wall.

This was by far one of the worst all-inclusive resort experiences I’ve ever had. On Monday between 11:00am–12:30pm, every restaurant was closed, leaving guests with nowhere to eat. We went to Chili’s at 7:36pm and were told they were done taking people, despite posted hours of 6:00pm–9:00pm. Being turned away from food at an all-inclusive resort is unacceptable. The amenities were just as bad. All pools close at 7:00pm, which is extremely early for a vacation resort. Our room had constant issues: the shower drained painfully slow, the toilet ran all day, every day, the drawers were broken with only one that opened properly, and there was rust around nearly every light fixture. The room toiletries were bare minimum — only hand soap and body wash, no shampoo, conditioner, or lotion. Shockingly, there were no washcloths provided at all. The most disturbing issue of all was seeing cats walking freely through the buffet dining areas. This is a major sanitation and health concern and completely unacceptable for any food service establishment, let alone a resort. RIU Bambu is rundown, poorly managed, and nowhere near the standard advertised. This resort needs serious upgrades, better staffing, and improved hygiene practices. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere unless you want constant frustration and disappointment on your vacation.

This was my first time in Punta Cana I’ve been to other cities in DR like puerto plata, Santiago, Santo Domingo, Las Terrenas and honestly Punta Cana was just too touristy for my liking. The grounds were nice it was on the beach they had a lot of pools but they lacked cleanliness. Which wasn’t issues on the resorts part but the guest. There were always chunks of lime in the pool by the pool bar I felt like there weren’t enough seats at the beach and sometimes the pillows and towels smelled like sweat. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends or family because I know there are better places to stay on the island where you can actually experience DR through the locals and not work the tourist!

Rooms need upgrades I asked for a room closer to the main pools but didn’t get it Very few people spoke English so very little communication and couldn’t get direct info about activities and parties. Hard to get directions Only one restaurant was open for breakfast so not much variety Dinner started too late so long time between lunch and dinner. Needs more activities at poolside to keep guest entertained. Was quite boring at times Too many sales people at the beach, was not relaxing at all when being disturbed to buy things. I requested birthday decorations in ny room and it was never put up. However when I told front desk, they did try to make it up with a gift. That was nice. Front gate refused to let my driver in to pick me up. I had to speak to 3 different staff members to get the gate open which almost made me late for my flight. Over, I have no need or desire to come back. This was my second time at a riu resort, but it confirmed I don’t like it.

We had a terrible time. We were checked into a dirty room. We were sick all 10 days of our trip. Unsure if it was from the food or ice. The staff were not helpful when we had issues. Had one day with no hot water.

We need Hot Food & better Quality Food needs to be better & you guys need a whole remodeling and add more cood 24 hrs more varieties and not be cold anymore! I would definitely not suggest this property to anyone
