The resort itself was neat and cleaned highly recommend the food not so great but overall the stay it self was nice a lot of walking for sure (they do have golf carts for transportation in the resort) which it’s a plus , pretty big resort never had any issues to access beach chair for the pool area, rooms were always cleaned shower was a plus hot & cold water never had any issues. The beach is amazing! Pictures online does not compare to in person most definitely looks better than pictures for sure just a stunning resort to stay in with a spouse & children’s. my only complaint was the steak restaurants & Mexican don’t really recommend the food was not what we thought it would be. The buffet was our overall pick never disappointed!

We were very happy with our stay at Ocean El Faro. The resort is very nice but big so be prepared to do a lot of walking. As others have mentioned, the beach isn't the best although it wasn't as bad as some made it sound (the lagoon is the place to go). The staff were friendly and we had no issues with service. There was always something good to eat at the buffet and lots of bars on the property. Our onsite Expedia rep Johanser was awesome, easy to contact and helped with anything we needed. Overall I would recommend this resort

We had such an incredible stay at Ocean El Faro. We had a swim up suite so every day just had beautiful views and was so convenient. In addition we had a butler named Jose, he was so attentive and made sure my husband and myself were taken care of. He booked all reservations for us, made sure our room was stocked, and took care of any special requests. We could not say enough how great he was, would recommend requesting him personally if possible. Where we were located we took advantage of the Pool Bar by the lazy river. Omar and Danny saw us coming and would have our drink order ready for us, they were excellent. It’s also close to the beach entrance, which we enjoyed some evening walks on. Our favorite restaurant at the resort was Dolce Vita, it is one that requires a reservation. Our server Luis was also a favorite, his recommendations made for an even better evening. The resort is large, but they make sure it is so convenient with multiple pools, restaurants, and a trolley you can catch to help you get around. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Ocean El Faro and would love to visit again.

We just got back from our vacation on Sunday and are missing it so much! The staff made everything fantastic and were friendly and welcoming. Special shout outs to Darius, Alejandro, Jonathan and Jose who made our experience fun, easy and relaxing! Food was good for the most part, it's more a matter of finding what you like but there are many options of types of cuisine and many options if you want to eat healthy or not so much. The rooms could have been a touch cleaner when arriving but the service of getting new towels and having the bed tidied was always great and quick! The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spacious and love having a nice balcony to enjoy the sunsets on. One thing that stands out about this resort is the beach, I've stayed at others in Punta Cana and the beach was filled with boats, gas and people. The one Ocean El Faro has is simply beautiful and quite private and expansive. I would recommend Ocean El Faro to friends and family and would love to return there myself. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Our room service guy Jose was great and amazing went on and beyond for everything we ask for. You help me surprise my wife decorating our room for our first year marriage anniversary My only complain was the food not that many option poor quality and if you pass the hour for lunch or dinner, you didn't have no more option outside of that timeframe but thanks to the room, service guy, Jose, and the staff I will definitely stay again

The biggest trouble with them is that they’re trying to sell travel pass to guests And they will trick you with the promise of welcome gifts.

We had the best pool staffing. Our entertainment staff were excellent. Gerason Milton Marelyes Leonela. Rafael took excellent care of our dinner plans. I would go again. Resort head great the our staff is what made our trip.

This was our third time to Dominican and this has been our favorite resort! We went with our children ( 11 and 8 year olds ) and there was plenty of things for them to do within close range of us at the swim up bar. Lazy river is a great addition to this resort. Tons of stuff to do as a family during the day (lazy river, waterpark, pool volleyball) and night (bowling, VR games $, pool etc) The resort is beautiful and kept clean.! Beds are very comfy and our balcony was huge! One complaint would be the service in some places not all. Definitely have to be patient. Will definitely return and recommend!
