The staff was very attentive and friendly. My only issue is that there were not enough vegan options available and that the food at the buffets should have better labelling as to ingredients. I had suggested using labels that include the vegan symbol if the dish is vegan-friendly or gluten-free for those who need to know that. Hopefully my suggestion will be taken seriously.

It was a solid three star stay - but no more. Clean, friendly staff…but no frills. Hope you don’t like eating breakfast at 9am, because you will stand there holding a plate trying to find a table, you’ll then try and flag down a harassed and over worked waiter to clear the previous people’s plates and hope you get clean place settings, which you won’t. The food at the buffet is consistently good, sometimes great. It’s impossible to get a reservation at the steak or Japanese. The diner was god awful. Lines were too long at the others to try. If you’d like a towel for the pool, you’re going to trek through the entire resort, across the beach to the dive shop. Beware the vendors who come every few days and set up tables. Joke pricing. $150 for a tiny wooden turtle that says Punta Cana on it. No visible pricing, they just decide what they think you might pay. Overall we had a good time, but the only entertainment was on our last night, I just expected a bit more.

Enjoyed the multiple dining options for restaurants; Mexican, American BBQ, Italian, French (romantic dining) Japanese & Steakhouse. Also had cafe for coffees and an ice cream shop. Also they had a sports bar along with the regular buffet. Beach was good in the sense not a lot of seaweed and tons of beach to walk along; however ,disappointed with the limited palapas for shade on the beach. Either get up at 6am to reserve one or go without shade for the day at the beach which could be dangerous with the intense sun all day long, and no escape.

Overall was a great property for both adults and children with nice entertainment! Food was excellent! The bed mattresses need to be upgraded to be as for a hotel 3 to 5 stars; they were very uncomfortable and I did not sleep well! The bed rails needs to be upgraded as they are terrible looking.

The property was very clean and the majority of the staff were very friendly and very helpful, the beach area was very nice with very little seaweed. The pools were huge and conveniently located in the two swim bars were really good. We enjoyed all of the different dining options. The one thing we did not like was the casino. It seemed like a scam but other than that, we would definitely go back.

We had stayed here before. our concierge Ismael was amazing he was always there to help with whatever we needed. he did all our dinner reservations for us. the food was good, Animation team was entertaining, Mike's Coffee shop the staff was great. Wanted to just relax and got to do that. Would stay again and again. Sharon

I enjoyed every minute of my stay the hotel is nice check-in and check-out was so easy, all the stay are super friendly it was my first time here and I was super impressed and I’m not easily impressed. The wind was heavy but the breeze felt so good air quality is great as well we didn’t find it hard to breathe. I would rate my stay 12 out of 10 and my family and I will definitely be back again. We booked out stay through Expedia and everything well thanks Expedia.

It was such a delightful vacation. Everyone was kind and helpful. I wish there had been another store front for another shopping option but we totally enjoyed our trip.

Not every worker there gives you nice service i was in DR for the first time i was clueless regarding how everything works and i have two girls following me around i thought they were the ones taking care of me… i had issues with my room being dirty (pillows robes ) i found “insects” and i was never offered a new room i didnt know i have to let the butler know because this whole time i thought the girls that followed me around were the ones taking care of everything and i told them the issues (in the morning) about my room and they never fix it… because i got back to the hotel like around 11 and went to the front desk and asked for new pillows because the left the dirty ones at that time jose garcia was the one that i let him know and my pillows and new blanket never came no one help the next morning came down furious at told the concierge and i found out he was the one that was in charge of my bld i didnt know that since the girls told they were there for me… he did send room service immediately and they cleaned it but i was still not a full satisfied with the service that i was provided and promised (before i spoke to my concierge )

Antonio Gomez is hands down one of the best bartenders we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting! During our stay at Ocean Blue and Sand Punta Cana, Antonio went above and beyond to make our vacation truly unforgettable. Not only was he incredibly skilled at making amazing drinks, but his friendly and attentive service made us feel like VIPs the entire time. He always had a warm smile, remembered our preferences, and went out of his way to ensure we were happy and satisfied. Antonio truly embodies exceptional hospitality, and we are so grateful for his outstanding service. Ocean Blue and Sand is lucky to have someone like Antonio on their team, and we hope they continue hiring more amazing people like him. Thanks to Antonio, our stay felt like a dream vacation. Highly recommend visiting and letting Antonio take care of you at the bar!

I loved the steak house and the quick access to the beach. What I don’t like was the pool and the Jacuzzi were ice cold and I mean to the point where my daughter loved the island sick. Also, there aren’t enough activities for me at this resort. Everything is centered around the pool and unfortunately, the pool is never warm. We also had a hard time getting dinner reservations, even though we had the concierge service. That was extremely frustrating. I have stayed at the resort in Jamaica that is owned by the same hotel brand and the experience was completely different
