Overall the property was okay. Numerous interruptions in our room from maintenance to housekeeping. Food was mediocre and you were lucky if it was warm. If you put your beach towel out on a chair too early the staff takes it but yet they don’t tell you what time is too early. The air conditioning quit working 2 days before we left and nothing was done about it.

Booked this resort for a trip with friends. It was the best decision we could have made. We all had a great time - food was great, pools were clean, beach was beautiful, and the rooms were amazing. Couldn't recommend this resort more.

This was iur first experience in DR. I would say there is positive and there's room for improvement. 1. To start with the airport was wonderful in Punta Cana the transportation from and to the airport. Reach out to the hotel and they will provide you with info about the company. 2. The property grounds are kept so well! It is absolutely beautiful! 3. The beach is amazing! We walked down the beach and i noticed that other hotels had washed off beaches. 4. The check in and check out was easy. 5. At the buffet you can always find something to eat. I couldn't say All the food was great! But i was able to find good food. The fresh juices and the fresh bread were delicious. Things that could improve: 1. Staff could be friendlier. The bartenders at the bar in the lobby, our butler was great, a couple servers (one at the Italian restaurant and 2 in the buffet area), the employee who checked us in and the one who checked us out were awesome! But i really would recommend everyone to be memorable like that. I think it is weird that i can count on my fingers the number of employees that were happy, smiling and pleasant. 2. Coffee - this is only for those who like coffee with no sugar and with cream! The actual coffee was delicious- but their milk/creamer is sweet.The only coffee creamer that did not taste sweet was at the lobby bar. 3. Wifi - sad sad sad 4. Beach/ beach bars separation-based on the bracelets - very annoying 5. They did run out of drinks

Resort was clean and the staff were friendly. Service was slow and food was mediocre. Recommend the steak house, DO NOT recommend the oriental dining!! Great for adults, not very kid friendly!!!

Pros: - Amazing beach, sand, shallow water entry, with breathtaking sunrises - Better lounge chairs than many of the adjacent resorts. - Amazing beach ... but I may have said that already. :) - Landscaping around the resort was well maintained. -That's about all the pro's Cons: - Not enough lounge chairs at the beach or pools. You must reserve a chair before 7:30am if you want one, anywhere. - Food is typical of a large resort buffet. Watch out for under cooked foods. - Specialty restaurants were underwhelming compared with our experience at other similar class resorts. - Table service is disappointing from a North American expectation. Occasionally we were surprised by service staff who went beyond expectations, and tipped well when they did. We also tried tipping before the meal, and sitting in similar areas to gain familiarity with staff - generally without success in better service. - From observations they're understaffed for the busy times in the buffet. - Rooms are okay. Our friends who stayed in a separate room had problems with the temperature control not working. - In our 10 day stay we had no hot water for part of the day on two occasions. Once in the morning and the other in the afternoon. - Bathroom vanities drained very slowly. - Overall, the resort looks tired. - Won't return, I think there's better value for the money elsewhere.

The best parts of this resort was the size of the beach. Lots of room. Also liked that is was small enough where everything was easy walking distance. Lobby bar made great drinks. Grounds were well maintained. Things we didn't care for. 2 beach bars, but none of them were open to normal customers (had to be Grand or First Level to access) The drinks were not consistent at most bars/days, but thankfully the Lobby was a short walk to get a good drink even if we were at the beach. The restaurants food was OK, overall the Buffet for dinner was better.

The beach was gorgeous. Tanning beds are in bad shape. The food is mostly lacking taste. The pizza place is great. Animation shows were nice. The service (except specialty restaurants) are very slow.

The property is really clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, the only thing We noticed is that they don't serve fresh juices. The powdered or mix artificial juices are super sweet. Also, the meat and fish in the buffet restaurant are a bit dry

No chairs by the pools all taken to the beach. Tables in restaurants not cleaned off. Ran out of pop drink supplies alcohol. Everyday you are harassed about a massage from Nelson as well constantly being bugged daily about excursions. Not impressed!

This trip has made us never want to go to Punta Cana again. Please take the reviews seriously before considering booking a trip here. There are way better options within the same price range, especially when you have to upgrade to royal level to make it tolerable. The food is terrible. The breakfast and lunch options at the buffet are basically the same everyday. The dinner restaurants were awful with very limited, odd menus. The service is beyond slow- over an hour wait for food. The royal restaurant is better quality and quicker service. To top it all off, my partner and I both got food poisoning on different days, so we lost 4 days of our trip. The rooms are very outdated. The shower gets water all over the bathroom floor. The air conditioning only sometimes worked and leaked on the floor so much it created puddles in the entryway and into the closet. The room felt gross overall and we never felt comfortable. The staff is not friendly to Americans and there's not a lot of staff that speaks clear English. We booked the romantic dinner on the beach and the waitress talked to us through google translate, which is annoying when we paid $150 for it. We did not trust the maids at all. They would knock once and immediately come in the room with towels and chocolate, once at 10 pm. We only received the chocolates and towels if we were in the room when they came, which was weird. The entertainment was all late at night and very loud.

The location is great with a beautiful beach area and plenty of palm trees. Rooms were good size. Nice and spacious lobby area with nice music and live shows. Restaurants were good overall, including the buffet. We liked breakfast and dinner options more than the lunch options. A-la-carte restaurants were okay, except the oriental restaurant were food and service were terrible. Some of the shows were nice. We liked the circus night. Pool was nice but we spent most of the time at the beach.
