This resort was perfect. From staff to cleanliness to food options, I couldn’t ask for anything more. The breakfast buffet far exceeded expectations. Great property, staff were very friendly and responsive to any needs. Yohangel in the buffet and Luis in the beach area were fantastic. Japanese food was the best.

We stayed at Live Aqua for 5 days, I don’t know what it is maybe my expectations were too high. For a 5 star resort, I don’t think I will book here again. The room was ok, it’s not clean enough especially in the toilet area. You can see water spits marks on glass doors and trash can basically everywhere. The pillows smells bad due to the wetness. The entire room has a very bad wet smell even with AC and fan on all the time. Keep this in mind if you get a swim up room like we did. The restaurants are ok, the only bad experience we had was at the Italian restaurant, we had to approach the receptionist to be seated even tho we were told to wait at the sports bar and someone will come and find us which never happened after 45 mins of waiting. The food took forever to come, after main dish the waiter was just not around to take our dessert order, nor did he offer to refill any of our drinks. The beach was nice, but the hotel overall feels old already when it is only 3 years old. Also, if you are Asian like us be prepared cuz people won’t treat you as nicely as they would to some other guests. We went to the breakfast buffet everyday, no one ever offer us to take our drink orders when we see all the other tables have drinks with them. Not coming back again and as a 5 star hotel I’m not sure if this place is worth your money.

Staff was nice for the most part. Few bad apples unfortunately. Overall wasn’t bad be very careful of what you eat and do not drink the water my girlfriend ended up extremely sick with food poisoning, but thankfully made a good recovery by the morning. If you do get it, I recommend seltzer water with lemons or limes seemed to help her a lot. We did the “VIP” stay and only upgrade was a good room and a “butler” they assign you. The butler was very nice in the beginning but after day one didn’t see him again until we left the resort. However he does provide his what’s app to be able to ask him anything.

Stunning hotel with one of the best layouts I've seen. Not too big or crowded. The pools and gardens are beautiful and there is lots of space for guests to enjoy and relax in privacy whilst also being able to join in on the party when wanted. Every staff member from gardeners, to bartenders, to concierge would incredibly friendly. We came here to celebrate our 10-year anniversary and we couldn't have imagined a better hotel to celebrate at!
