Excellent hotel. A wonderful, spacious, and clean room with a great view. Very friendly and caring staff. The hotel buffet is the best we’ve experienced among all all-inclusive resorts. The grounds are beautifully designed and very convenient — pools, bars, sun loungers, and walkways are all well organized. There is plenty of space, yet everything is within a short walking distance. The hotel is adults-only, which allowed us to enjoy a peaceful stay without noise or crowds. A lovely beach — clean and spacious enough that we never had any trouble finding a spot. Plenty of activities available on the property.

Everything was as advertised!!! Really didn’t want to leave! The staff was amazing! The gym was amazing! Enjoyed all the restaurants except the Italian restaurant, didn’t seem up to the standards as the other restaurants! Asian restaurant was fantastic, the buffet was great!

The resort was extremely luxurious for an all inclusive. The staff were all very friendly and always went above and beyond to make you feel taken care of. Even at check in they have you sit in the lounge and come to you with the paperwork so you don't have to stand in line. The resort was beautiful and super clean. The room itself was very large and modern with a giant bathroom and really nice shower. Much nicer then every other all inclusive ive stayed at. The food and drinks were the real highlight. All inclusives usually mean average at best food and watered down drinks but here was truly comparable to going to an expensive high end restaurant or bar. The restaurants were very upscale and the food was all plated beautifully. Think small super fancy portions displayed on a plate with multiple courses. Even the buffet wasn't really a buffet, everything was served for you and most prepared fresh while you waited. The drinks all over the resort were also very strong and each bar had a different vibe and cool specialty drinks. I loved the martini bar, the vibes were super classy 1950s hangout with cool leather couches, bartenders dressed in bowties and a piano in the corner. The only thing I wish I knew before I went is there is a "Club" membership. Essentially you need the membership to sit by the first main pool and eat lunch at any of the sit down restaurants. So without it, you are limited to the one furthest away pool and only the buffet or bar food for lunch.

We had an excellent stay at the Allegro Sonesta in Chicago! The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel has a stylish atmospher with great amenities, and its location made it easy to explore the city. Would definitely stay here again — highly recommend
