Bad experience from start, room wasn’t ready at 3 and I was told they was working with me. No, I’m working with you as my room should’ve been ready at 3. First room full of roaches, dirty pillow cases with a black tub. Replacement room had a leak over the toilet. So when you tickle, expect a sprinkle over your head. Bar tenders only sees the YT ppl until you curse them out.

Although the property is beautiful and well maintained, the staff excluding Ray from breakfast and the Italian restaurant and Woodly from reception, service has been the worst out of many all inclusive resorts I’ve stayed at. When asked for a specific item being food, drinks, or even towels, their response was we ran out no attempt what so ever to help you. I Would never come back!!!

We enjoy a lot the amenities. Areas of Opportunities: (1) facilities maintenance (hvac systems, paint and woods), service personnel was not "warm" with us, the overall appearance at Route 66 was not good.

I visited this resort with my family, including young kids and our 98-year-old grandmother, expecting a relaxing, family-friendly vacation. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The waterpark had only a few slides—some not working—and it felt overcrowded due to outside guests being allowed in. The gym was small, with limited equipment and only four treadmills. Pools were large but some too deep, and the bar areas were often packed and uncomfortable. Service was hit or miss. Many staff members seemed more focused on getting tips than offering good service. At the Japanese restaurant, a chef made inappropriate comments in Spanish about not expecting tips from our mostly female table, then didn’t offer dessert. When we returned with more family, a different chef was professional and kind—clearly, the issue was with that one staff member. Accessibility was a major problem. My grandmother didn’t get her room until 7 PM, and despite repeated requests, no wheelchair was provided—we had to rent one ourselves. Food was repetitive, though breakfast was decent. The steakhouse and coffee shop were the highlights, especially thanks to Gris and another kind pregnant staff member there. Overall, not worth the price. We won’t return.

I am writing to you to provide a rating experience for a recent resort booking made through your platform. Unfortunately, my stay was extremely disappointing due to serious safety issues, poor maintenance, and unprofessional service at the property. During my stay: The waterpark was poorly maintained, which caused me multiple injuries: a cut on my head and leg, and a severe hit to my foot that resulted in swelling and difficulty walking. Despite these injuries, the hotel refused to cooperate or provide proper assistance. They declined to arrange a golf cart or any support to help me move around, even during mealtimes. The staff were consistently rude. When I asked for information or assistance, they often hung up mid-conversation or dismissed my requests without help. The room was in unacceptable condition: there was mold on the open couch, cockroaches and other insects in the washroom, and a strong odor resembling rotting even after cleaning. In the last couple of days, the pool water became stinky with no working filter. Insects and leaves were floating everywhere, making it unusable. At the same time, the beach was entirely closed due to seaweed, leaving no clean or safe swimming option for guests. This experience not only ruined my trip but also put my health and safety at risk. I expected a far higher standard from a resort booked through Expedia, and I feel completely let down.

I like the amenities and the restaurants. The staff was very friendly specially Miguel and Gregori from the buffet. Our room was always clean. Did not like the Buffet food it was most of the time salty.

Water park was cool, and most of workers are very nice and helpfull but a few were shady, overall relly good place , i didnt like the way they tried to get us to do a so called membership(timeshare) king off. I wish they would have been honest from the beginning instead of kind of baitting us into something we didnt want to do .

There were lots of flies in our room, and some of the staff that we encounter were trying to over charge us for certain services. Me understanding Spanish was a plus because they couldn’t take advantage of me like they intended to do. The service became a bit better when they were aware that I spoke their language, but you can easily see and feel the difference in treatment when they were under the impression that someone is a “gringo” like they refer to tourist/Americans. I will not go back to this resort.
