The water park was wonderful for the kids, nice selection of food and staff was great. The property is getting pretty tired, lots of broken tile and the bathroom shower wasn’t ideal but staff fixed issues quickly. The big issue would be the sickness, 3 out of 5 of us got very Ill and are still dealing with the aftermath of it. Even being careful we got incredibly sick so keep that in mind when booking. Amarlys was a fantastic butler, she helped us with transportation issues and general bookings around the resort. Overall It was a fun experience but with how sick we are I’m not sure I would go back.

We had the best time at Royalton Splash Punta Cana! The waterslides were amazing super fun for both kids and adults, we could’ve spent all day there. The food was delicious with so many choices, and everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling and making sure we had everything. The whole resort was clean, and just a huge party! Honestly, we didn’t want to leave! If you’re looking for a fun, relaxing getaway with great food and service, this is the place. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful vacation, and the vast majority of it, was thanks to our Butler, Ernesto! He also, really went above and beyond to help my daughter's 21st birthday, special and memorable. Any reservations for dinner, recommendations for excursions, and anything in the welcome Diamond Package the hotel left out, he made sure we did receive. Ernesto had the best customer service experience one could offer. Very prompt with response and professional. Going into the buffet, the female staff at the front desk would argue our clothes were wet, even though they weren't, they said I couldn't enter with a red halter top swim piece and a high waisted red skirt cover up. Although it's a beach look that's appropriate for a buffet AT THE BEACH. The food itself was always the same IF, it was open and there was actually food in the trays and not empty. The Bella Cucina was the absolute worst, just don't go there. The Teppanyaki was the absolute best though!!! We actually went twice!! So fun and food was delicious!! If it wasn't for Ernesto, I probably would've rated the overall experience lower. A lot of the staff were really rude and unhappy looking. I would highly suggest stay at the sister resort on the same property, not Splash. Splash was so amazing for the water park though!! Our girls 13 and 11, and even us adults had so much fun!! No alcohol served in there, but it was definitely fun!! Overall one and done, but again thanks to Ernesto, we had a wonderful time!!

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Worst experience we have ever had. We booked this trip with two other family couples, to celebrate two birthdays and my anniversary together. From the second we got there the “resort” was grungy, dirty and did not feel like a “resort” should. We pull up to this open area where you see a bunch of suitcases and is very uninviting. Initially I didn’t realize this was the place we are to hold our luggage, until we are rudely approached and told by a staff member to leave our luggage there. The communication was horrible, rude and inattentive to their paying customers. Definetley not a resort feel. We proceed to check in- there is NO CENTRAL AC what so ever in that whole resort. God for bid you have to use the restroom, you are sweating in a sauna the entire time (you dread having to use the restroom!) once we get to our rooms, they are dark, hot, smells humid and like mold, the rooms felt dirty and disgusting. You can tell the rooms had bandaid fixes and almost went into tears at the thought of having to sleep in that bed. I have pictures of the moldy areas around the corners in the bathrooms, broken bathroom doors and the best part…. A Tumbleweed of what I hope was just someone’s hair weave ! (Disgusting!!) My sister’s room was exactly the same feeling. My Brothers room who came with an infant booked their room with a special accommodation of a crib/playpen to put their 11 month old in. They circle the first floor to realize There is no elevator and their room

What I liked about the property was the waterpark. The many nearby bars to grab a beverage. There’s two main buffets one of which is better then the other and that is the one located closest to the beach. Now what I dislike is how run down the rooms are. There was giant cockroaches in my room. And I paid for a luxury deluxe room and it was far from luxury smelt like dirty water pipes. Thankfully, I didn’t do one week here I stayed for two nights and I wouldn’t go back. 2.5 out of 5
