The staff was absolutely amazing, friendly, kind, and fun. Plenty of activities for families, college kids couples overall great all day enjoyment! The food was not the greatest and the rooms definitely need a bit of updating and deep cleaning but overall, we had a blast!

Overall this is a good and average vacation property. I would rate it a 6/10. The rooms are decent and quiet. The resort is HUGE. It takes 15 mins to walk from the front to the ocean. All drinks are rail liquor. Top shelf is available but, expensive. The basic buffets are ok and generally busy. There are special ones that all require a 24 hour reservation on their hotel app or website. The best restaurants are not included and pricey. If you want any service around the pools, you need to tip cash or you will ignored. The beach for the property was amazing. Small children are mixed within so be prepared for crying kids at all of the pools. Nighttime entertainment was nice but often ruined by the overwhelming number of cigarette smokers.

I recently stayed at Hotel Bávaro Princess, and overall, it was a good experience with some highs and minor lows. The Beach & Pool The beach was absolutely beautiful—clean, spacious, and perfect for relaxing. The beach pool was also very nice, offering a great spot to cool off and enjoy the sun. Rooms The rooms were nice and comfortable, but one downside was the noise. We could hear music from outside, which made it a bit difficult to relax at times. Food & Dining The buffets were solid—there was always something to eat, and the variety was decent. However, the à la carte restaurants were just okay; they didn’t really stand out in terms of quality or selection. Would I stay again? Yes

Our stay was alright. I’ve come to Dominican Republic and stayed at plenty resorts the times I’ve visited. This stay was a little anticlimactic or disappointing. There were little good options in terms of buffet style. Most eating options were restaurants that you had to make reservations for and when we did there wasn’t enough slots available to book. Staff was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was cool but in terms of options of what to do or eat there wasn’t much.

We love Princess Resorts for their family-friendly atmosphere, and overall, we had an amazing time at this one. However, there were a few areas that could definitely be improved. The biggest drawback of our stay was the condition of our room. There was a persistent moldy smell, and our clean clothes felt damp all the time. One day, a piece of the bathroom ceiling fell, revealing mold underneath, and water was dripping from the area. The resort sent someone to check it out right away, but their solution was simply to paint over the problem. Fortunately, no one was in the shower when it happened. The food was decent, with plenty of options to choose from. We dined at five different restaurants, and while all were fine, none stood out as exceptional. The staff was friendly, but one cultural difference stood out. It’s common for them to shout across buildings to communicate with each other, which can be disruptive when you’re trying to relax on vacation. The property is beautifully designed and well-maintained, and we loved seeing animals around the resort. The grounds are spacious and walkable, which we enjoyed. While there’s a train available, we preferred walking. The resort is stroller-friendly with ramps and paths, but sharing walkways with service vehicles was inconvenient. We frequently had to move our stroller onto the grass to let vehicles pass. The beach is stunning, and we never had to wait long for anything during our stay. We would return!

Property grounds were well kept, staff were attentive. Food and drink were at best mediocre. WiFi was available but not good, Restaurants were lacking and only one reservation was allowed in a given 24 hours period. Room service was available however a fee per item was added and prices were steep and food quality was not good. Beach was amazing and pay services for cabanas were worth it. Pools need an upgrade. Smell of sewer and mold could be experienced in the rooms. Rooms over all were cleaned and well appointed. Bathroom were large and efficient.

Where do I begin? my first room was dirty and had several mosquitos. I upgraded my room to Platinum hoping it would be better. Room was nice and clean but lost power twice, phones didn’t work and when they did you couldn’t get anyone to answer. Had to walk to the lobby to make complaints and it wasn’t close by the room. The WiFi is terrible even though I paid for high speed, it rarely worked. The tvs weren’t clear, the screens were choppy so you couldn’t really watch anything. Room service delivery time always ended up being 90 minutes. All inclusive isn’t worth it if you are wanting or for the alcohol, I kid you not, me and my boyfriend probably had 10-12 alcoholic beverages a day and felt NOTHING! PGB dinner was laughable, service wasn’t good! The highlight of the trip was the beach is clean and beautiful, they decorated the room for my boyfriend’s birthday, gave him a custom cake and a bottle of champagne. This made him feel really special, there was a fee for this but it was very small and so worth it. The staff at Chopin were phenomenal, by the second day, they knew where we wanted to sit and what we liked to drink. They were very attentive and I hate that I don’t remember their names but we ate there for breakfast and dinner almost every day because of the great service. Never used the pools because they were too packed all day, beach was quieter and better. Wouldn’t come back.
