The resort staff was very friendly and welcoming. Despite not having great weather, the staff managed to create a fun enjoyable time. The food was excellent, there were different restaurants available which didn’t require a reservation. Everything that was ordered from the menu was delicious and fresh. I will recommend this resort to friends and family.

Despite its luxurious appearance, this hotel delivered a consistently disappointing experience that failed to meet even basic expectations for a 5-star property. From the start, service was a major issue. Staff were inattentive and seemed uninterested in guest satisfaction. Room service took nearly two hours each time, and when it did arrive, the food was cold, incorrect, and delivered by unfriendly servers. There was no effort to apologize or correct the mistakes, and basic hospitality felt like an afterthought. Housekeeping threw away my personal medication during cleaning—an alarming and unacceptable mistake that could have had serious consequences. On top of that, the room was not properly maintained. No bottled water was provided, and the minibar/fridge was never restocked during the stay. These are not just minor inconveniences—they are fundamental failures in guest care. This hotel might look the part, but it completely lacks the attentive service, reliability, and professionalism that a true 5-star experience demands. I cannot recommend this property and would strongly caution others expecting quality and care.

We had such an amazing time and it's been hard to face normalcy after this trip, so it has taken me over a week being home, to write this review. While I would like to recognize every single person at this wonderful resort by name, unfortunately, I can't, but everyone was super friendly and helpful!! Jose was great at keeping up with our daily happiness and making sure everything was going as expected. Marcial, Yinaury, and Emmanul at the Prelude Bar were our absolute favorite bartenders! We frequented their bar the most and enjoyed them all very much! They had our morning coffee (tequila shots) ready as soon as they saw us approaching. I had 1 bad incident with an unfriendly employee during an activity. While I do not wish to reveal her name, she was not friendly to me. I joined an activity a few minutes late and she proceeded to ignore me when I asked her questions, until she had no choice but to deal with me and was very rude! The only 2 complaints I have is the maps around the resort and the app do not mention where the public bathrooms are located, which would have been helpful until you were at the resort long enough to gather your surroundings. Smoking is permitted everywhere outside, that is the last thing I wanted was a fog of stink in my face while enjoying a drink at the bar or eating at an outside restaurant.

Resort was beautiful, clean and staff was welcoming. Plenty of food options, downside was that restaurants close too early. Most hotel activities were catered to Americans which washed down their culture experience we would have rather experienced.
