Absolutely stunning. Check in was a breeze, Evgar truly went above and beyond to welcome us. At check in, he booked us a special dinner reservation at The Magna restaurant for my husband's bday. Although reservations are not required, they truly made this dinner special with rose pedalled table, a "happy bday" plaque and a mini cake.The resort has a vast array of restaurants and I was expecting average buffet food, but let me tell you the food was delicious. The resort app was convenient to see restaurant menus, hours of operation and also their dress code. For the most part, casual clothing is required, no flip flops or tank tops. Some restaurants require pants and collared shirts for men.The room was over the top with a jacuzzi, lots of snacks and drinks, and all necessary toiletries, including a toothbrush and toothpaste. Our pool was not at all crowded and had crystal clear blue water. We saw workers treating the pools overnight, and cleaning both the pool and all lounge chairs each morning. The beach view was amazing, and there are plenty of lounge chairs with shade available. Despite the surge of seaweed, it was cleaned off each morning. If you walk down the beach to either side of the hotel, you will find local shops with extremely affordable souvenirs and massages for 1/4 of the cost compared to the hotel shops and services. We purchased lots of souveniers from Carmen and Pedro's shop at "Wal-mart" and also from the shop on th eopposite side of the hotel.

First All Inclusive

This was our summer vacation. Never been to N all inclusive. We upgraded to club level on recommendation by some friends that have been to similar places. We thought we would benefit from this but really didn’t for the extra cost. It did give you a separate pool, lounge, restaurant (with a bit of an upgrade from the others), beach area and special Checkin. They never he led to see if we belonged at the pool or beach area. Did check at lounge and restaurant. Checkin did not matter as resort was not busy at time. With all said, recommend to check and see if it is a busy part of season and if not, the club level not really worth it. Also check in and see if it is during their stormy season. The sea moss coming on shore was so much that you could not get in the water. Overall experience, food, amenities was great. No complaints. All staff very friendly and accommodating. Place was clean.

The property was very nice, but the food was hot or miss depending on what you ordered in each restaurant. Chez Isabelle and Spice were the best, in my opinion. The staff was friendly. The only thing no one warned us about was the seaweed that the staff did their best to curtail.

Our stay at the Excellence in Punta Cana was EXCELLENT. First and foremost, the staff was beyond helpful, fun, personable, professional and generally great. Hendrix by the pool stood out to us as he we out of his way to assist.... he and several others by the pool bar were very nice. One o lf them seeked me out to bring us coconut drinks after they ran out for a bit. He said, "Ill find you" and he did. Good stuff. I dont have to even write much about the backdrop...it was quite beautiful, especially for our honeymoon. Several food options, endless beverages.... truly all inclusive. We will be back as often as possible.

The welcome you get is first class! Champagne and a cool towel. The front desk will give you a great welcome! Wilson is AWESOME and makes you feel at home. The staff at the Excellent Resort was fantastic. The Entertainment staff was Excellent FUN! Chez Isabelle- Joel was Outstanding, the food here was first class!! Spice: George, on hibachi was fabulous, fun fun fun! Magna- First Class the Tomahawk is amazing and they have a great breakfast! Lobster House has the best breakfast! Las Olas- Go here for lunch, the service is great the view is perfect! The Micheal Jackson show is a must see! My issue is with Expedia they list photos on their website that do not reflect the hotel! Expedia did a horrible job! Expedia needs to update the Resort page pictures. Expedia did not help me with my issue after checking in. I chatted with several Expedia people and they did absolutely nothing to resolve my room concern. Mrs. Anna at the resort was fantastic resolved the issue so we could enjoy our vacation. I will never book international travel with Expedia, I will only book international travel with a local travel agent! My advise go to the resort website book directly with the resort to ensure your reservation is precisely what you want and expect. Also, book your transportation with the hotel as well! Do not book with any other transportation company. Make sure you bring plenty of money!!! ATM will charge you 23% of your money and a fee. Enjoy it's a beautiful resort.

Everything in the resort was fabulous the staff from the time we arrived to the time we left were amazing. juan carlos and yeifri were amazing they took care of us the whole time we were on the beach. We got upgraded to the imperial sweet which is the largest room in the resort just for booking through expedia. The only negative is the knives could be a bit sharper in the steak hose

The food was amazing at dinner, breakfast could have used some improvement. The bed was comfortable but the room was hot. We really enjoyed our trip but would hope those two items are improved upon.
