I would love to tell you all about this stay that I had at excellence that I can’t even call a holiday. But I’m too busy arguing back-and-forth with leadership at the Excellence now. Very disappointed…. With everything! Their food their menu the consistency the small small portions of everything served to you. What a rip off. I’ve been to this particular chain hotel before and can’t believe what a disappointment and difference this is. Speaking to others on the resort that have become multiple times they’ve said that in the last few months things have really gone downhill! I would not recommend this to my worst enemy. I’ll be writing another review and multiple another social medias !! stay tuned!

Room temperature, humidity and spotless… food as advertised was pretty good and an unexpected treat was an excellent wine list, I particularly enjoyed Spanish wines from Ribera del Duero … service friendly and willing to fulfill your requests, which is rare. The chef at the French restaurant, prepare a coconut rice for me outside the menu options. Lovely place, a bit far from everything but for me was perfect!

I’ve stayed at the property once before so was not expecting such a disappointment. I booked the excellence club and upon checking in. Separated from my party and sent to regular check in. While sitting and waiting not understanding why we were denied VIP check in. 30 minutes later I am called up to the front desk and explained that I booked the excellence club. Upon looking into my reservation I am told yes you are in the excellence club. Already upset and off to a bad start they send me to the VIP check in where I waited another half hour while the party I came with was already at the bar waiting . In the end the hotel was overbooked and I was put in a regular room with excellence club privileges. Oh they did change the soaps in the room. Still a huge disappointment. Expedia needs to be more accountable for the reservation process.

Good location for older crowd that wants to relax in peace. Join their club to get access to every restaurant and get special spot on the beach. All inclusive is a loose term. Spa cost is crazy expensive.

Reservations via Expedia was extremely unprofessional. Left us stranded at PC Airport on Xmas eve.(prepaid for 11 mos). Had to find our own way. We had booked 3 rooms for a family Xmas and tried to be located together. It was booked 11 mos in advance but nobody would commit at Expedia. Calls and emails to hotel directly for 11 mos went unanswered. Upon checkin we were told no go!. Hotel workers were extremely hard working with a smile. Management not to interested. This was our 3rd trip to excellence PC. And 5th trip in total to Excellence . No hot water for a shower early or late for almost every day. Nothing addressed. Food was ok , but well below the standard previously experienced, especially in other excellences Beach was top notch as per usual. Beach service was spotty and inconsistent. This use to be our favourite? We will take a break from Excellence going forward and will never book via Expedia again!

Everything we expected and more. This was our second stay at Excellence Punta Canna. Our room was amazing, staff are welcoming, and a great selection of dining. We spoiled and a had a private patio with a pool and probably wont be able to come back without it!

Our housekeeper, mini bar guy and all the staff were incredible. Malvin at the Mexican restaurant was incredible. So great, we went there twice! Definitely a lovely stay.

Staff very courteous and attentive. Room clean but musty smell that went away during stay. Food was delicious everywhere. We loved Aroma convenience. Grounds were well kept. Proximity to ocean and pool were great.
