We enjoyed our stay in this resort. The food was really good at the buffet and some of the restaurants. We really liked faire and blue water. The resort also offered a lot of entertainment options. There were two things I didn’t not like. The resort is outdated and not the cleanest. Also there were people smoking next to the children’s pool.

The staff was the best part of our trip! We enjoyed each and every one of the Preferred staff from the waiters inside of the preferred cafe, to the bartenders and servers at the pool. Neili, Alejandro, “drinky time” Ismael, our bartender Jean, and Angel who was getting us towels and saving chairs every morning made our stay so special. There were several others who were making drinks and tending the bar who were just as nice! Wandy was super nice and helped us with whatever we needed. Our concierge, Breilin made our days special by planning a birthday cake, champagne and strawberries for our anniversary, and taking care of days spent at Dreams. Our stay was perfect! We ventured out to zipline and Monkeyland, then to Macao Beach, and our last tour we went on was snorkeling and boating. Unfortunately we had lots of sargasam on the beach and wasn’t able to swim in our part of the beach.

the customer service was terrible. i purchased preferred and never got any. Tried to put me out my room at 10:45pm that night because of a mistake they made. Never received an apology. TV in the room didnt work for 2 days.

Weather was so good the weekend we went . Awesome entertainment and fantastic staff . Room was very spacious and clean and all the necessities that we needed were all there . I want to give thanks to Frandy ., he was awesome he went out of his way to make sure we were having a great time and as well as staying hydrated and fed , he really took great care for myself and my friend . The staff was very friendly . Will come back again and will also recommend this great place

Great dining options. A few outstanding individuals. Staff was either outstanding or not happy at all to be there depending on who you got. We had 2 rooms and none of the hot tubs worked. Elevator was being repaired 7 out of 7 days we were there. Beautiful facility but no effort to clean the beach. We understand it’s the season for sargassum but a little effort goes a long way.

I was disappointed by the lack of effort put into maintaining the beach area. The tractor would pass by and total miss the Dreams Onyx area. It’s almost as they were driving by to clean other beach front access areas. As a guest, I expected a pristine, inviting beach, but it was evident that the hotel had not prioritized cleaning the shoreline. There was an accumulation of debris, including litter and seaweed, which detracted from the overall beauty of the location. It was frustrating to see how this impacted our beach experience, as we were looking forward to lounging by the water and enjoying the views. I believe that a hotel of this caliber should take more responsibility in ensuring that its beach is clean and accessible for guests. A little effort in regular maintenance could significantly enhance the experience for everyone. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the beach conditions for future visitors.

We experienced excellent customer service and professionalism in every interaction with the hotel staff. Special thanks to Geebran Ruiz, who provided exceptional concierge services and went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. As for the dining options, the food overall was average. Our best dining experience was at the Mexican restaurant, Tamarindo, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We also tried the Italian and hibachi restaurants but were somewhat disappointed with the food quality. Given that the hibachi restaurant requires a reservation, we expected a standout experience, but unfortunately, the food quality and presentation fell short. That said, we truly enjoyed our stay overall and would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I'd like to start by recognizing bartender names Anthony. His joy, and happy carisma made the experience memorable. Food was EXCELLENT at the hotel, there is room for improvement as far as hotel maintaince. You could tell some appliances are starting to wear out. The scent here is extremely wonderful however sometimes overpowering. STAFF IS INCREDIBLE. I have no complaints about anyone. Everyone was respectful, cheerful and professional. Things I didn't really like although it wasn't that much of a big deal was that at this resort compared to others I've been to in DR. This one has wait times when visiting the restaurants, no reservation needed. Every restaurant we attended had a 30-40 minute wait time before being seated. Which wasn't ideal considering our 2 year old.... the lazy river was also one of my favorites! And the kiddie pool is perfect, my son was able to wander (with close supervision) without having to worry of depth. our stay was close to perfect!
